Nope, that would be an accident. I fixed it though. ;) --Id the Mildly Confused 01:37, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

Hobos

I haven't created any pages - I've just been tidying up the already created ones.--Ryo Sangnoir 13:12, 17 June 2008 (CDT)

  • It's alright - it was an easy mistake to make. --Ryo Sangnoir 13:15, 17 June 2008 (CDT)

chum pickpocket

When you added the chum to the pickpocket entry, did you do so because you have succesfully pickpocketed that item before, or because you have gone through the trouble of spading that they normally only drop one chum, but they have a second chum that can only be obtained through pickpocket? We only list items that can only be obtained by using pickpocket in the pickpocket entry. --Flargen 01:22, 26 June 2008 (CDT)

  • They can only be pickpocketed-- in the few thousand turns our clan has spent in the sewers thus far, the only CHUM chums we've gotten have been through pickpocketing. --TechSmurf 09:15, 26 June 2008 (CDT)

About your edit at haiku katana

The box is stolen from Uncyclopedia. I feel the reference is ruined a little with the wording, but I thought I should inform you and get your opinion after confirming that you knew that it was a reference. Well, it's not as if people would get an Uncyclopedia reference, but that's the reference. --Raijinili 17:16, 6 September 2008 (CDT)

Periodical Paintbrush

I think you've got one of them... Not exactly an issue of burning importance, but did Jick break it? For the past couple of days, the pop-up's been showing no enchantment at all (bring out your torches and pitchforks). Also, you've tagged Cocktailcrafting for two months now. Any progress on the rewrite? </rude nagging> --BagatelleT/C 03:14, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Looks like Jick did break it. The enchantment is indeed missing. Regarding Cocktailcrafting, to be brutally honest, I haven't made any progress. I'll take the tag down. It's still a project I'd really like to work on, and I plan to, but I'll stop imposing an unnecessary freeze on the page. --Southwest 17:19, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Cellpadding

Looks good to me--I think the problem is that the template didn't "refresh" on save. To do this manually, you can re-edit after committing the changes, change the URL's &action=edit to &action=purge, and hit enter. That should force the page to load the newest code. --BagatelleT/C 23:38, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the tip. Maybe I wasn't looking for cellpadding after all. Right now, the template's cells are exactly as tall as the content they contain, which doesn't look too great. I thought that cellpadding would be what I wanted to get a little extra whitespace between the content and the edges of the cells. What would be the right way to do that? --Southwest 06:27, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
    • I think you'd have to use cellpadding="5px" rather than a style attribute--the style attribute placed where it is seems to apply only to the outer table, not its constituent cells. --BagatelleT/C 14:00, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
      • The CSS padding attribute is non-inheritable. Meaning what you said: it pads the table wrapper itself, but not any of cells or rows (interior stuff). If you want to use CSS padding, you have to put it in every sub-object. The CSS border property behaves similarly, as do several others. When it comes to tables, this gets frustrating. The HTML attribute "cellpadding" is inherited by imbedded cells, however. --Flargen 21:16, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Nice work on the content familiars

I wanted to have a table, but was too lazy. I think your table's better than I would've done. --Raijinili 00:09, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

About the content familiar table: why not go all out and use the images for the MechaMech, Fairy, and Starfish? --Raijinili 14:26, 1 July 2011 (CEST)

  • The reason I didn't use those images is because my goal was to use icons to represent the effect, not the familiar they emulated. I thought it would be clearer that way. Unfortunately, there's no easy icon to represent stat gains from combat, especially when there are two separate formulas (volleyball formula and sombrero formula). --Southwest 23:05, 1 July 2011 (CEST)

GroupMonster template?

Three things are broken with it, and I can't figure out why:

  • The template should not be in the Group Monsters category.
  • Some of the pages that use the template have an extra space after the text, making the layout look weird.
  • It's not possible to use numbers as template arguments - is this possible? If not... I can live with it. If it is, though, how do you do it?

--Wrldwzrd89 00:03, 28 June 2011 (CEST)

  1. Nowiki tag
  2. A space? You mean like a linebreak? Should probably not include the linebreak at the end of the template.
  3. Have you tried "1"?
Might I suggest, though, that the group monster tag be incorporated into the monster infobox? --Raijinili 14:30, 1 July 2011 (CEST)
I see what you mean by using it as an argument. However:
  • This monster counts as a group (of size 3 or more). It takes manifold damage from area-of-effect skills such as Wave of Sauce..
An issue with that, though: should numerals be used anyway? --Raijinili 14:34, 1 July 2011 (CEST)

Skills Chart

N 23:49 User:Southwest/Skills‎ (diff | hist) . . (+26,159)‎ . . Southwest (Talk | contribs) (Beginning a new skill chart design.)

26k. That's ... large. What for? --Club (#66669) (Talk) 06:57, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Ha, I didn't think about how that would appear in the changes log. It's a replacement for the skill chart currently on my user page. I'll add more characters as I finish designing/creating the new chart, but then I'll obliterate the old one and free up some space.--Southwest (talk) 07:01, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Doesn't Bumcheckcity offer a handy automatic version? --Club (#66669) (Talk) 07:26, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Does he? I didn't realize. I'll look into it and put my project on hold, then.--Southwest (talk) 07:36, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
