Why is that, exactly? That wasn't in the Proposed Standards the last time I edited egg pages, so I based it on the ones for food and drinks, which respectively are "Eat Effects" and "Drink Effects". Wouldn't "Use Effects" be more consistent?

Don't you mean "Why is that, eggxactly?"  :~)  Actually, you're right, this is a fairly recent change.  Basically, it's because not all usable items have a use effect ([[briefcase]], for example), and we wanted to have a standard section title that would be applicable for all usable items.  Jinya made the final choice on wording.  Here's the archived discussion: [[Talk:Proposed_Standards-Archive#Standards_for_Usable_Items_.26_Combat_Items]].  --[[User:Gymnosophist|Gymnosophist]] 22:38, 28 Jul 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Don't you mean "Why is that, eggxactly?"  :~) Actually, you're right, this is a fairly recent change. Basically, it's because not all usable items have a use effect (briefcase, for example), and we wanted to have a standard section title that would be applicable for all usable items.
