Crucial Clues for Trophy 68

Summary of Hints: This is something that is very, very easy to do, can be done by a new account on the first day, and involves typing a pop culture reference into the interface.

When trying to spade Trophy 68, remember the following hints given on the radio show on 2/16/09 by Jick:

Full list of given hints

  • it was rolled out with NS13.
  • it's not the kind of thing you can be "close to getting" (no counter in database)
  • it's a pop-culture reference
  • it's easy to do (Jick quote + CDMoyer was qualifying for it on radio in a minute)
  • however, can be screwed up (CDMoyer screwed it up when tried on the radio but confirmed afterwards that it actually was his mistake rather than trophy not working)
  • "you have to use some part of the interface and do something" (CDMoyer quote)
  • a new account can get it on their first day
  • a player in Hardcore or BadMoon can get it
  • it doesn't have to do with numbers 11, 23 or 37
  • the number of the trophy itself (#68 ) doesn't have to do with anything
  • HotStuff wants to give a clue, but not until they add more trophies to the game
  • CDMoyer confirmed typing that happened during the attempt to get trophy. (possibly trophy is related to places requiring typing: notes, the mall, account, messages, chat, graffiti wall, pvp, the strange leaflet, familiar names, profile, and summoning chamber).

Uh, i might be totally wrong here, but when CDMoyer tested it, there were a buttload of chat commands out i think right? so some of that key work could be him typing chat commands such as /equip or /go or /cook etc. right?--Coolness 21:14, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Several variations on the theme "Dick In a Box" (from the song: 1: cut a hole in the box, 2, put your dick in the box, 3, make her open the box). However 3 remains untested untill the person I sent stuff to leaves HC. Uses the <3 shaped box, "Dick" on the note, various item combos including WANGs, plot holes, etc. Details here.   • What about the old leaflet?
