:Image:Folder sticky.gif

Unused image...shouldn't have really been uploaded anyways.--Dehstil (t|c) 21:34, 1 August 2006 (CDT)

Becoming a Miser

Useless guide for meat farming with a bad name. It was written by someone who hasn't made any other edits, so will most likely never be expanded.--UglyPanda 13:13, 3 August 2006 (CDT)

There's also a redirect to it for some reason, which should be deleted as well.--UglyPanda 13:16, 3 August 2006 (CDT)

Talk:Degrassi Knoll Mushroom Fields (spoilers)

  • Orphaned talk page. Content before blanking was etc etc.--Dehstil (t|c) 19:32, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

  • Orphaned talk page. Created in a very random moment.--Dehstil (t|c) 19:40, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

user page, unneeded redirect

malicious slander? not added by user, makes unsubstantiated claims. if this user is such a bad scammer, is there a place for them in the wiki? --Evilkolbot 06:57, 10 August 2006 (CDT)

  • Talk:Elemental Saucesphere (effect) - The beautiful history of spam.
  • Talk:Fez of etymology (delete | links) - Imaginary page move?
  • Talk:Hagnk's Mostly-Burned-Down-then-Hit-By-a-Chunk-of-a-Comet-then-Flooded-by-the-Melting-Comet Ancestral Mini-Storage - Hidden discussion page.

--Dehstil (t|c) 19:52, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

  • I don't know about other user redirects, but this one was intentional...which I mentioned might happen somewhere else.--Dehstil (t|c) 22:39, 12 August 2006 (CDT)

Bloody hand

  • Is he trying to make a capitalization redirect to Bloody Hand? It's both a mystery and an obstruction to the search box going to the right place by itself--two great tastes in one! --Jonrock 23:49, 14 August 2006 (CDT)
    • I don't know if the verdict is in on those...for some reason people keep finding it necessary to create those; I don't know why. Since, this doesn't work, *baleet*.--Dehstil (t|c) 23:57, 14 August 2006 (CDT)

Packing materials

Does this belong here or should it be moved to meatsmithing...or is it already there? I'm confused.--Dehstil (t|c) 22:18, 2 August 2006 (CDT)

  • I think it should be in Meatsmithing, which is out of date anyway. Stupid Tuesdays! Else we need 400 little hard-to-navigate-to pages including "Ore Smiths", "Petried Time Smiths","Wrapping Paper Smiths, etc. etc. etc. So Meatsmithing sounds good ;-) --JRSiebz (|§|) 22:22, 2 August 2006 (CDT)

I put this chart together because I thought it would be helpful, but wanted to keep in on a separate page for now while working it out. (sort of the like the Violet Fog map).--Foggy 23:10, 2 August 2006 (CDT)

  • So..what does it need before it's ready to be merged?--Dehstil (t|c) 15:03, 5 August 2006 (CDT)

foon of fealfulness

Someone decided to make this foon all engrishy, when anyone who could see the item's description online would know that it is in fact Not So. --Katarani 03:27, 17 August 2006 (CDT)

  • It was a typo. And you should've just moved the article. Hmph. --Ricket 03:32, 17 August 2006 (CDT)
  • Didn't know I could. Newbie mistake, either way. It just happens to be mine instead of someone else's. --Katarani 04:10, 17 August 2006 (CDT)

Putative Valhalla Chat Guidelines

Transferred from User talk:Vimes177/guidelines page: Give me one good reason why this page shouldn't be deleted. --Quietust 00:22, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

  • Because us /valhallians will taunt you whenever you drop by. And the fact that a page has to be suggested for deletion and be voted on before it goes. --Scorpios 00:24, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

Because we need more stuff to macro.--Punk27 00:26, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

We'll see what the other admins have to say about it. --Quietust 00:27, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

Because we are a kol subculture, and have nuances the civilized could never understand... come into chat if you want to talk about it--Vimes177 00:29, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

So two people speak on behalf of a whole channel which anyone can join? I don't think so. There is so much that needs to be updated/added because of the recent changes, and you guys waste bandwith creating this junk. Talk about being as unconstructive as possible. --JRSiebz (|§|) 00:52, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

  • We've kind of moved discussion of this over to the Pages for Deletion article where we have more support. Also, check the channel. --Scorpios 00:59, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

Come into the channel and see what those who do not do the wiki say, why don't you? --Vimes177 00:54, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

I spent an hour in the channel tonight and didn't experience any of this stuff. I'll be deleting this page. --Gymnosophist 17:57, 26 August 2006 (CDT)

  • Intended for backtracking; categories work better.--Dehstil (t|c) 15:43, 16 August 2006 (CDT)

  • Suraimu created this, then blanked it without comment. Do we really need this page?--Dehstil (t|c) 15:43, 16 August 2006 (CDT)
    • After discovering MP Restorers he blanked Talk:Regeneration as well, with the comment "what can I say? it's late, i'm tired. delete this and its corresponding article please? Thanks." So, yes.
      • Yes, forgot to put it up here. So, yes from me too. Thanks. :) --sl1me 22:58, 16 August 2006 (CDT)
      • Yes? You mean no to my question, we don't need this page.--Dehstil (t|c) 23:01, 16 August 2006 (CDT)
        • I was saying Yes to the second comment, not the first. --sl1me 23:20, 16 August 2006 (CDT)

Talk:Discussion/Things_that_are_broken (delete | links)

  • Beggin' for a bannin' IMO but I guess simple deletion is the prudent course. --Jonrock 13:54, 20 August 2006 (CDT)

  • No links to it, and it's pretty self-explanatory even outside of KoL. Does this really need to be here? --Idran 19:44, 22 August 2006 (CDT)

I find people constantly asking me what k means! I thought this might be useful!--Idiotjohn 21:33, 25 August 2006 (CDT)

Plexiglass Items

  • Already at Ascension Rewards. Although the table is pretty, hmm. Thoughts?--Dehstil (t|c) 22:36, 23 August 2006 (CDT)
    • I quite like this table, it saves people(and me) from flicking back and forth throught the links when looking at the ascension rewards. I would even reccomend doing one for the stainless steel as well. --Maharet 23:29, 23 August 2006 (CDT)
    • "Ascension Rewards" has all the same information as the "Plexiglass Items" page (so I'm not sure why Maharet is clicking through links), but "Plexiglass Items" has a better presentation. Why don't we replace the "Ascension Rewards" text section with the table from "Plexiglass Items" (and then delete "Plexiglass Items"). And yes, do a Stainless Items table as well. --Gymnosophist 03:57, 24 August 2006 (CDT)
    • Done.--Dehstil (t|c) 23:00, 24 August 2006 (CDT)

Quest for Schlitz

  • Why wouldn't we just link to ""? Note :Image:Schlitz.jpg and :Image:Logo.jpg too.--Dehstil (t|c) 23:00, 24 August 2006 (CDT)
    • Yeah, unless we want to load all of here, we're better off just linking to it.--Dehstil (t|c) 21:09, 25 August 2006 (CDT)

  • moved to user space: unecessary redirect --Evilkolbot 16:47, 17 July 2006 (CDT)
    • Whats our policy on pages in the user space, but not under the wiki user's name? (effectively allowing a free reign on any range of topics/pages in the user space) As an aside, those edits of his confuse me.--Dehstil (t|c) 16:56, 17 July 2006 (CDT)
  • i'd like to know this, too. i didn't notice that Guthix1 wasn't the usual newb vanity page. i was under the impression that anything you wanted to put in your own user space, as long as you weren't too much of a dick about it, was ok. obviously defamatory stuff added by or about the user should be removed (and banzored for if necessary) but if someone wants to write stuff that's basically true about someone else, who's to say they can't? --Evilkolbot 17:24, 17 July 2006 (CDT)

Appears to be some sort of suggestion for new content, which doesn't belong here. --Quietust 07:55, 26 July 2006 (CDT)

King Ralph XI (delete | links)

Most of the page is nonsense, and I don't really see a point in making a truthful page on something that's not that important --Wallawalla23 09:57, 27 July 2006 (CDT)

Leftover redirect.--Dehstil (t|c) 22:36, 28 July 2006 (CDT)

Wrong images

The Unused Files page still lists several gifs and or jpgs that are not KoL or are duplicate files. Should I post the file names on this page or should I do the same thing I did last night and edit the talk pages? (When I didn't know this page existed.)--Terrabull 00:29, 29 July 2006 (CDT)

  • Most of them (the duoplicates/non-kolers) are gone now. The rest seem to be in-game pics not used on the wiki due to new/temp areas, for example plains10.gif or other numbered ones, would be placed on their appropriate pages if we didn't choose to show all possible areas, like the beanstalk when it's not there, or the SPF when it's not there, erc. The minomoon .gifs are used and unused depending on the current day. Talking all that out, there are jsut a few KoL Con images, the old frontpage/skin images and a few charts. Maybe one or two "iffy" ones. But it's not as bad as it used to be. --JRSiebz (|§|) 02:22, 29 July 2006 (CDT)
  • We should attempt to use any unused kol images we can and just keep the ones we can't. If the any non-kol images can't be used anywhere, they should really be deleted (:Image:Rhelements.png).--Dehstil (t|c) 21:27, 29 July 2006 (CDT)
  • I agree that we should use all avalible images. Why have them just take up space? But in the instance I do run across an image that does need to be deleted (because I get bored easily and that page is fun to look at) Should I post it here?--Terrabull 01:24, 30 July 2006 (CDT)

Meat making for the experienced adventurer

Yet another unneeded (and rather poor quality) "how to make meat" guide. Doesn't give very good advice, either - why farm the Icy Peak in eXtreme Cold Weather Gear when you can purchase Elemental Saucesphere from buffbots? --Quietust 19:13, 30 July 2006 (CDT)

Another vanity page in the global namespace. --Quietust 16:24, 31 July 2006 (CDT)

Talk:Helmet turtle

  • useless self-promotion. and unsigned, too. should probably go in user page. --Evilkolbot 17:12, 21 June 2006 (CDT)
Meh...Seems pretty harmless =/. It's just a talk page...--SomeStranger (t|c) 17:31, 21 June 2006 (CDT)
  • i must disagree. the talk mustn't be random bleating. it should, like the rest of the content, be apposite and well-formed. it also shouldn't be a place for rampant self-promotion. then, where would we be, eh? EH? --Evilkolbot 17:07, 29 June 2006 (CDT)

Maximizing Your Adventure gain during rollover

Awkwardly titled redirect, nothing links to the page. --LucySpace (Talk|Cntrb) 07:24, 20 June 2006 (CDT)

I'd like to see category:paths and category:Zodiac Signs merged into a single category, (category:ascension?) and those two deleted. Paths only contains three articles, and never can contain more. Zodiac Signs contains 9 articls, but is in the same boat - limitted category. At the very least, category:paths should be emptied and deleted. Three articles does not a category make. --Aardvark 07:51, 13 Sep 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Paths and signs probably would go well together under an ascension category, but I think it would have to be made pretty clear on the category page which are paths and which are signs. Also, it wouldn't really feel complete without a hardcore article put into it, and possibly a normal or softcore one made. But that's just my opinion. --Doppelheathen 18:54, 24 Sep 2005 (MDT)
Perhaps a new page which detailed the various signs for each path in various categories would be appropriate. At the very least, the two pages should be combined into a new one and the originals be made into redirects. --Xym 18:37, 8 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

Full Gift Shop

This has been discussed, but no explation of usefulness has been given yet.--Dehstil 18:37, 1 June 2006 (CDT)

  • Erm....I don't know...We have unlimited space on the wiki (well sort of unlimited)....why not just keep it....?--SomeStranger (T | C) 18:39, 1 June 2006 (CDT)

A good idea that would have worked nicely. Unfortunately, the wiki parser doesn't work that way.--Dehstil 19:08, 2 June 2006 (CDT)

Mr Bill

This request was not fulfilled(the article was not deleted).

Another needless user page redirect. --Evilkolbot 17:16, 8 June 2006 (CDT)

  • I am going to say no on this one. Mr Bill is notable enough to deserve a redirect to his userpage.--SomeStranger (T | C) 20:05, 8 June 2006 (CDT)

Was used for a time on Talk:Moons, but isn't needed any more, with {{moon}}. Phlip 17:42, 11 June 2006 (CDT)

Hey, didn't realize someone had already uploaded Jick's image--can someone delete this one?--Pastamancer5 23:30, 7 February 2006 (Central Standard Time)

  • This image's deletion was requested by contributor. Our pretty version is in use instead of this "rotationally correct" version.--Dehstil 14:28, 3 June 2006 (CDT)

  • this is currently a redirect to User:Colin. isn't the current standard that, unless famous, users don't get their own page, even as a redirect? --Evilkolbot 06:49, 8 June 2006 (CDT)

  • While this is most likely true, I do have a sort of "fame" in /c trade. I have no idea as to what extent you have to be famous, but I did not originally make my page. It was made for me by a friend, Reaper77 (#469606). However, if the extent of fame just has to be that you be known, then I'm pretty sure that I qualify for that channel. If it is more than that, than I'm most likely not. If this is the case, I will have no quams about you deleting my page, it has just been a fun thing that I have had to be able to point people to and to continue writing events that happen down.
