Has anyone figured out how to succeed in this quest? I've been pasting them on every stupid monster I see, to no avail. --Uknowforkids 16:40, 26 June 2007 (CDT)

No clue either. Perhaps monsters who'd want to go to the show? Goth giants? Any other ideas?--Creamy 16:41, 26 June 2007 (CDT)

I'd think yu need to put them on a certain number of monsters. Also have heard murmurings of a certain total ML might be required instead. I'm just plastering them on things as I do other miniquests.--Olaf 16:43, 26 June 2007 (CDT)

Just want to note that using this guarantees (probably) that the enemy hits you. My 500+ moxie DB got hit by a rushing bum after sticking one of these things on there -_-

Not only that, but it seems to be a critical hit each time. --Uknowforkids 22:13, 26 June 2007 (CDT)
With my 850+ moxie AT, I'm losing about 30-40 HP each time, never critical hits. --Kristinna 01:25, 27 June 2007 (CDT)
Note that's only the *first* time you use it in a combat. Using it multiple times in the same combat gives the 'you've already advertised here' message, but the enemy can then miss. Also, your familiar still acts, so repeatedly flyering the same monster, if they can't hit you, is a very nice stasis strategy. I'm using it with my NPZR rather than resting at the campground between fights. 314159 07:40, 1 July 2007 (CDT)

It seems that you can only use it once per monster....more than once per zone.--Noneofyourdarnbusiness 00:36, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

Level 38 TT and I'm getting between 3 and 8 HP attacks from using them at the Junkyard, but not critical hits. I've used about 80 so far, possibly more, and the message at the Arena is changing to show I'm doing better. Can't stick them on anything in the Battlefield, get the message "Anybody who would see this flyer is probably too busy fighting in the war to go to a concert. Try advertising somewhere else."--Zeitgeist 21:30, 27 June 2007 (CDT)

I take 40-50 damage when using them at the Junkyard; otherwise I take at most 35 damage. Level 15 Pastamancer. --Vince1123581321 02:17, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

"This item can be useful in the miniquest from The Junkyard, if your buffed moxie is too high to be hit in that area. See the notes for the Molybdenum magnet." But the gremlins never miss, apparently, so the flyers wouldn't really help at all...I think. Anyone else think this note should be removed?--Parroharro 21:44, 22 July 2007 (CDT)

for some reason, the most damage i have taken wile using theese is 1 (sleazy back alley) --Noinamg 16:12, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

  • Because you're level 12 when you're using them. Your moxie is so high that you take the minimum amount of damage. Not to mention that those are some of the weakest enemies in the game. --TechSmurf 16:27, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

Using a plot hole or procrastination potion does not always stun the enemy, using stunning items MAY prevent return attacks via this method, so I changed the language to reflect that. HaphazardJoy 21:15, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

  • If you use an that stuns the enemy, they won't attack. If the stun doesn't work, they'll attack. "May" sounds like they can still attack even after a successful stun. The wording was more accurate before. --TechSmurf 21:28, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Saying that using such an item WILL prevent attack isn't accurate, it's only if the stunning effect is a sucess, hence MAY, not WILL. HaphazardJoy 11:50, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Question - if I kept track of how many flyers I posted and what the changing responses were from the guy at the arena, would this be worth posting here? I don't know much about the posting policies here but it seems like useful information I could add? --Lizm3 02:36, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
