Requirements

According to a clannie's experience as well as some message in the forum, 100% familiar runs for this could mean 100% like in a kittycore run (from gash to gash) instead of the usual 100% like the one for the Slice and Dice trophy (from gash to prism). -- Ruby Eyes 13:01, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

  • 100% familiar runs were originally from gash to gash like black cat, but CDMoyer changed it to be from gash to prism break.
    • I believe it is unlocked with tour guide runs and not 100% runs, because I have 7 tourguide runs complete, of which only 3 are actually 100% runs and the familiar equipment was available for purchase --Rinn 19:11, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
    • I believe it's unlocked with gash-to-gash. I ascended the first day, and while koldb said I had 7 100% runs(<http://www.koldb.com/searchresults.php?type=hardcore&sortby=fdt&timetype=ralph&who=adiabatic>), only 2 counted as sweater-worthy. Did I just ascend too soon? --Adiabatty 19:31, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
      • You just have to stay with the same familiar from gash until prism break. The Astral Pet Salesman told me "Unlock this item by finishing at least 5 100% familiar runs. (You have finished 2)", while I had only one gash to gash 100% run in my history, but two from gash to prism break. --Yatsufusa 19:49, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
      • I now believe it's now gash-to-prism. I just ascended my neglected multi, and the pet salesman says "3", while koldb says "3" (<http://www.koldb.com/searchresults.php?type=hardcore&sortby=fdt&timetype=ralph&who=keffbat>). Such are the perils of early adoption, I guess. --Adiabatty 20:38, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
    • I can confirm this as well. Putting a note in the main page in case people aren't sure. --Quickdart 22:48, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
    • I just verified that a 100% familiarless run counts for obtaining the pet sweater.--Hekiryuu 15:22, 20 July 2011 (CEST)
  • Also, I wonder if the nonascension ones (1k damage, 300 pickpocketed items, etc) are only unlocked for that ascension, or if once you unlock them, you can buy them at any time. --Jimfromtx 04:22, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
  • I'm fairly certain (and I'll be more certain when I ascend) that the belt needs not one ascension of each class, but a gash-to-gash from each class. Haven't played through as a sauceror yet, but I did become a sauceror after a Boris run, after which I permed some sauceror skills. Probably relates to the ascension record - the gash-to-gash displays the AoB symbol rather than the class you become. Naturefreak2101 06:59, 18 April 2012 (CEST)
    • Yes, that's kind of the point of your ascension history.--Toffile 08:06, 18 April 2012 (CEST)

Formating

Would someone smarter then I please format the items into a table somewhere, so people can compare their enchantments at a glance? --Darkwolf 05:38, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

  • I also missed the comparing in one place so I made a big fancy table with color-coding, requirements and enchantments. I also left the old design so you all can decide which one is the better. Tables isn't so hard to do but it takes some time to add all information. --Christog 11:55, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
    • That is wonderful. Thank you! --Darkwolf 20:21, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Item info

Dunno where else to put this: (ignore stray 'w's that seem odd, they come from a wikilink script)

   Cannot be discarded
   Quest Item
   Enchantment:
   Mysticality +25%

ast_mask.gif astral mask

This is a raccoon that, after a full life of stealing stuff from garbage cans,
was reincarnated as a mask. It is his fervent hope that the Lone Ranger will wear
him to the dump, to the dump, to the dump dump dump.
   Type: accessory
   Cannot be traded
   Cannot be discarded
   Quest Item
   Enchantment:
   Moxie +25%
   +20% Item Drops from Monsters

ast_sweater.gif astral pet sweater

This sweater is the reincarnated soul of one of those small yapper-type,
perpetually shivering dogs. At least it's finally warm, and mercifully quiet.
   Type: familiar equipment
   Familiar: any
   Cannot be traded
   Cannot be discarded
   Quest Item
   Enchantment:
   +10 to Familiar Weigh

Also, I could get the following items in the shop, I knew about the 1000 damage requirement for the trousers, so I went and did a 1000+ dmg melee and ranged attack. Also, got Torso Awargness HPermed and over 20 ascensions, most of which HC and a complete set of BM runs. I'm guessing the first 6 are always available. astral bludgeon astral shield astral chapeau astral bracer astral longbow astral shorts astral mace astral trousers astral ring astral pistol astral shirt astral belt

-- Rikastley 15:23, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Just to confirm, it looks like the damage requirement adds all forms of damamge: primary, 2nd hand, and elemental. Certainly it's not just primary as I did 987 (+29) +20 spooky, and can get the trousers.--Noims 17:27, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Single Ascention or Retain?

I'm assuming that the equipment disappears after ascention, would this be correct? I'm hoping not, as there looks like potential for an outfit here. -- Skittius 17:19, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

  • They are marked Quest Item, so they will vanish when you ascend. --Yatsufusa 17:38, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Error Messages

If you try to purchase two items from the Pet Heaven, you receive the message:

You've already got an item from the clothier. Don't be greedy!

If you try and return an item you've already returned:

You can't return something you don't have, even in a plane where normal existential rules don't apply.
