Wearing Prince George Costume: my Wild Hare (Geoffrey - 35lb,wearing miniature dormouse) attacked in combat: Prince Geoffrey dashingly dashes in and dashes your foe to the ground - - - for 144 damage!

As I posted here on the forum, it seems the costume abilities are determined by certain (newly defined) attributes of familiars, like body parts or phylum. Often the combat messages give a clue as to what attribute is required, so in the case of Prince George on a Wild Hare, it's possible that it requires legs or the ability to run, because the message talks about dashing. This is backed up by the fact that on the spading spreadsheet, a Galloping Grill with Prince George also does bleeding attacks. --Prestige (talk) 11:24, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

Best guesses for unknown attributes:

  • +25% Items is triggered by clothing-wearing familiars (or human-like familiars assumed to wear clothing)
  • +4 Moxie from sleazy familiars: Sleazy Gravy Fairy & Grouper Groupie, as well as "greasy" familiars: Baby Mayo Wasp, Pet Cheezling, Bloovian Groose (because it produces grease)

I don't know if anyone has seen the extra effect from the Myst costume yet. I've tested ideas like "underwater," "magical" (Magic Dragonfish) and "tentacles." Checked for the usual stuff in combat, including from weapon or spell hits. --Prestige (talk) 08:20, 8 December 2017 (UTC)

best guess from the messages is that the Oliver Cromwell in combat effect is on "flying" familiars --Capnsteve (talk) 20:53, 15 December 2017 (UTC)

The only familiar on the spreadsheet confirmed to give the initiative effect was the Intergnat. I've tried it with other flying familiars like the Exotic Parrot and Stab Bat, but didn't see it happen. Maybe I'm testing it wrong, but I'm lowering my init and letting monsters get the jump on me. --Prestige (talk) 01:57, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Damage from Prince George looks like 4*weight, give or take. The Cromwell bonus I'm not sure about. (I've got it with the Coffee Pixie and Cheshire Bat. Which probably doesn't help most people.) It does not appear to be a straight init bonus, and it only seems to trigger in situations where you might get the jump. Maybe it's something weird like rerolling the initiative check. —Yendor (talk) 10:06, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
