"Because of the process needed to make the moon amber, it is suggested to send in a Sauceror to fight this boss. If they have enough spell damage, they will be able to completely heal the damage dealt by his smaller attack with saucegeyser, allowing them to deal much more damage."

-- what does this mean? Are you suggesting reducing your HP to where Jalapeno Saucesphere can fully heal you? Funkslinging healing items with combat items seems a lot safer. His strong attack/weak attacks do definitely seem to alternate, and the rocket gets (slightly) bigger each time. --Maddsurgeon (talk) 13:37, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

    • Maybe he had Chilled to the Bone at such a high level that Jala healed a couple hundred HP. I don't know whether this gives Wolf boy multiple attacks or not. --Greycat (talk) 12:42, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
  • At five kisses, he seems to have about 15,000 HP and caps damage at 503. He also appears to reduce physical damage, perhaps in half? Took about 150 DR to survive the fifth rocket at full HP. --Maddsurgeon (talk) 13:37, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Rocket Formula

Can we try to figure out what the forumla is for the rocket attacks? They seem to start off somewhere near 90% of max HP(depending on DR), and then get bigger in successive rounds. Some very rough numbers: At ~250 DR, first rocket did about 95%, each successive rocket did .75% more. (at 5 kisses) --Maddsurgeon (talk) 05:07, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

They start at max HP + 50 -DR and each round increases by 30. Here is my spading against a 2-kiss guy: 10 DR, 258 moxie, 445 max HP, 485 damage 10 DR, 264 moxie, 1354 max HP, 1394 damage 10 DR, 387 moxie, 445 max HP, 485 damage 18 DR, 258 moxie, 445 max HP, 477 damage 79+L20brawnee DR, 264 moxie, 454 HP, 389 damage

82 DR, 1000 DA, 715 moxie, 694 HP, 8002 HP, 478 minor 82 DR, 1000 DA, 258 moxie, 445 HP, 8000 HP, 413 major, 722 minor 82 DR, 1000 DA, 258 moxie, 445 HP, 8000 HP, 413 major, 722 minor 82 DR, 1000 DA, 276 moxie, 3271 HP, 8000 HP, 3239 major, 573 minor 210 DR, 1000 DA, 4417 moxie, 3107 HP, 2915 major, 102 minor --Lotsofphil (talk) 22:07, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Damage Cap

He appears to have a soft damage cap of some kind. Actual data points:

The 2541 myst data point fits a formula of (raw-500)0.55 +500 but the rest do not. The muscle point was physical damage instead of elemental, so it might be completely different. --Greycat (talk) 12:42, 3 September 2013 (UTC) (and later edits)

He is definitely weaker against elemental damage than physical. --LotsOfPhil

  • ((raw*(.5-.05*kisslevel)-(550-50*(kisslevel)))0.75 +(550-50*(kisslevel)).

That was not fun to spade.--Cannonfire40 (talk) 00:03, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Ring of Haze?

Does the ring of haze work against the first attack? If it does, and you have a high moxie (~5000) you're essentially avoiding the first 2 attacks completely, which means you can funksling special clips twice. I imagine that would probably kill him on any difficulty.
