To me, the washing machine line seemed like more of a reference to the nickname/insult "fancy pants", though I can't find a good concrete example to link to (aside from a few lines from Secret of Monkey Island). --Quietust (t|c) 15:28, 9 November 2006 (CST)
Ditto. It doesn't really sound like it has anything to do with dyeing, it's just saying that these salts would make things more "fancy", as in fancypants. Not sure if that correlates with a possible use, but who knows. Is there any monster (or combinable item) in-game that could be fancied-up? D: --Beatrix kiddo 15:44, 9 November 2006 (CST)

The correct plural of this item is "bottles of fancy bath salts" not just "fancy bath salts". I couldn't figure out how to change it on the page so I hope someone else will get to it! Jihiro 01:27, 26 November 2006 (CST)

This definitely delevels. I used a few against the NS on my last run (when I was low on MP and had nothing else to throw at her), and after each one she would shimmer (first form), so it's probably at least -6ML (if that's the safe amount you can delevel her without her shimmering). --J12601 17:44, 28 November 2006 (CST)
