The text for this adventure seems to indicate that it is affected by +Combat modifiers. Does anyone have any proof to back this up?--Zebtrestalala (talk) 14:27, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

  • i'd say you're reading way too much into this. you're always spoiling for a fight, especially in a gladiatorial arena. if you want to spade it out, though, run +/-25% combats and see if you get a different number of these than you expect. 100 turns of each should be enough. if i had to guess (and i am rubbish at guessing) i'd say you'll get more with - than with +. i'll place no bets, though. --Evilkolbot (talk) 16:40, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Alternating sets of 20 turns at a time: I would go with -27% combat and consistently get 0 lockers. With +25% combat I was getting lockers every 5-7 turns. Seems like it is indeed another case of "non-combat that you need +combat for" (which isn't the first time that's happened in this game). This still was only with 60ish turns for each side, so someone can feel free to run hundreds if they want to nail down precise numbers...but I'm confident that telling someone "run +combat" is the way to go here.--Jletter (talk) 22:13, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
  • I don't have exact numbers, but just anecdata: I did ~20 turns here with Smooth Movements on and didn't get this adventure. Then I switched to Musk of the Moose and Carlweather's Cantana of Confrontation and got this adventure in 2 turns. --thisisnotatest (talk) 00:42, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

spading request

I couldn't get this adventure at all with 20% or 25% of +noncombat for about 20 to 30 adventures. Buffing +combat by 25% made me encounter this adventure roughly every 3 to 4 adventures - give or take.
Putting items from this set and the disguise crafted from them into my dc worked for me to get more than one of each. I think I put some parts into my closet as well, but I'm not sure anymore. I also didn't test both variants for all items.
Sorry that I couldn't be more definitive, but I didn't notice the spading request earlier. --Yatsufusa (talk) 05:10, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

I was able to get this adventure without visiting the coliseum first. I don’t think it’s necessary anymore. --Silver Fire (talk) 13:57, 13 January 2020 (UTC)

weapon drops

Putting all colosseum weapons in the closet seems to allow another one (or the same again) to drop. Someone to confirm this would be good.
With a weapon and both outfit pieces in inventory, I stopped getting this adventure. Only tested 20-30 adventures, so it's just anecdata. Previously it had been occurring around every 5-10 adventures, with +combat frequency of 20-25% --Rolando (talk) 02:04, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
