Man, this thing must have gotten confiscated a long time ago. (In-game plural: portable cassette players) |
Obtained From
- Skills
- Summon Confiscated Things
Messages
- At the start of the combat, you can get one of the following effects (if you do not have one of this effects already):
![]() | You acquire an effect: Pet Shop Song (duration: 10 Adventures) |
![]() | You acquire an effect: Flashy Dance Song (duration: 10 Adventures) |
![]() | You acquire an effect: Dangerous Zone Song (duration: 10 Adventures) |
![]() | You acquire an effect: Dark Orchestral Song (duration: 10 Adventures) |
- Having one of these effects active without a cassette player equipped causes you to lose all remaining turns without a specific message at the beginning of your next combat:
![]() | You lose an effect: ... something |
Notes
- The effect you gain is deterministic based on: ( total current turncount across all ascensions ) modulo 40
- if your turncount % 40 is 0-9 then you will gain Dark Orchestral Song
- if your turncount % 40 is 10-19 then you will gain Pet Shop Song
- if your turncount % 40 is 20-29 then you will gain Dangerous Zone Song
- if your turncount % 40 is 30-39 then you will gain Flashy Dance Song
- If you gain one of the portable cassette player's effects at the start of your fight with the Naughty Sorceress, you get to keep it, since this is scheduled after she removes all your beneficial effects.
History
- When it was first implemented, multiple of these items could be equipped. This was corrected on August 4, 2014.
