*When this item was first implemented, it was an accessory.
*On February 8, 2006, it was changed into an off-hand item (along with many other items).
*On June 22, 2011, it was changed back into an accessory again.
*On January 8, 2013, it was briefly possible to acquire a second transfunctioner from the Mystic as a result of that day's trivial update, which made changes to the [[The Crackpot Mystic's Shed#History|The Crackpot Mystic's Shed]].
