You're fighting a yakuza thugA bored-looking yakuza thug was leaning against the wall, regretting whatever foul-up had led to him getting assigned the task of making sure the beta-testers didn't get out of hand. Well, at least they'd let him keep all his fingers. Some of his friends could only count to seven.
When he saw me, he did a slow double-take as he realized I probably wasn't supposed to be there.

As he punched me in the gut several times, the yakuza explained to a passing tester that he was soloing and didn't want to party up, but thanks for the offer. Ugh! Ouch! Ugh!
He tried to kick me, but his dress shoes skidded on the old linoleum and he nearly lost his balance. Argh! Eek! Ouch!
His fist drove straight into my face. I could feel the drywall shatter as the back of my head slammed into the wall. Argh! Eek! Ugh!
His fist slammed into my jaw like a sledgehammer. "Ai ya!" he sneered with a sarcastic tone, as I spat blood on the old linoleum. "Shang hai ni le ma?" Ugh! Ouch! Ugh!
He swept my legs out from under me, giving me a very close view of the poor state of the hallway's linoleum.
He tried to punch me, but I ducked out of the way and his fist made a new hole in the tenement's old drywall.
Just as he was about to attack, the yakuza got distracted by a tester asking him for directions to the paladin trainer.
Just as he was about to deck me he was interrupted by someone shouting down the hall. Something about being trapped in the... geometry? "Tester twenty-nine wander into his closet again," the yakuza explained, rolling his eyes. (FUMBLE!)
