disco moves and multiple monsters
- what happens if the monster is three monsters or more? i don't know, but that would explain why the "two" messages were removed. --Evilkolbot 15:16, 12 June 2012 (CEST)
- I think it's because it's implicit that "hitting two" is the same as having twice the effect. There's the link to Group Monsters, at least. --Raijinili 10:52, 13 June 2012 (CEST)
- Well, Dance maxes out at affecting two enemies, even if there are three or more in the group. Dance II affects a maximum of three. Perhaps I should state that specifically in the article. --Prestige 23:19, 12 June 2012 (CEST)
- to avoid confusion (well amongst the old and/or hard of thinking such as me, anyway), perhaps a note to that effect would be good. --Evilkolbot 13:58, 13 June 2012 (CEST)

PirateRealm
For the cuisinier, did you check both options? I'm pretty sure I remember having a Cuisinier help me when I dived for a big fish, the first time i ran out --Fredg1 (talk) 23:32, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
- I tried both options yesterday, but didn't see any special message. (diving gave me 3 grub that time, so it wasn't the best result.) Maybe the cuisinier only helps if you get a better result? I'll check again when I get the chance. --Prestige (talk) 23:55, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
- Maybe it was the cuisinier's adjective that acted? I immediately thought the result was because of it's noun, so I never remembered the adjective... Though I AM pretty certain SOMETHING can increase your wield when diving --Fredg1 (talk) 00:10, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- Found the adventure in the log (thx kolmafia):

- So I had a ... cryptobotanist? Then it couldn't have been a cuisinier, must've been wrong somewhere... But SOMETHING helped... Also the 2 were back to back (went on the island right before with 0/0), so was there an error or does having 0/0 makes one of the recovery adventures cost 2 turns??--Fredg1 (talk) 00:23, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
- I dove for grub today with a Gluttonous mate and got the helping message (the same one as for option 1.) So It turns out Gluttonous helps with both options. Also of note, I got 9 grub from it, so the bonus on the second option appears to be more than +3. --Prestige (talk) 08:38, 17 April 2019 (UTC)

- I've done very little testing on the "dive" option in these grub and grog adventures. The results I've listed are mostly based on KingBobson's forum post. Definitely needs more examination. It makes sense that Dipsomaniacal would help when running out of grog, but I'm pretty sure I tested a Dipso when diving for grog and nothing happened. Again, it might be something that doesn't fire all the time. --Prestige (talk) 03:13, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
