Don't create pages for items that don't even exist yet, please. You don't even know if that's the actual name or not. --Flargen 03:40, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Hence the text "placeholdz0r. Please move when name is known." Just in case somebody beats me to it. But I have multiple times in the past created the IOTM page, so it's really just for my convenience. --Nightvol 03:42, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Big ass-user pages

  • a decision was made, which hasn't made it onto the standards pages yet. this may take some time since it's not clear what's been decided, but generally it would seem that your sub-pages are exactly what was meant. i could get all tyrannical and just delete them, but i was playing nice. just a heads up, you may be a bleeding-edge player and all-round sterling chap otherwise, but remove a mod categorisation again and you'll get yourself banned. --Evilkolbot 16:02, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
    • as far as recalcitrant mods go, some have complied and i'll see what the rest say. --Evilkolbot 16:08, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
      • Point taken, but I was referring to Wiki administrators themselves who also maintain large pages. Might I be able to delay removal until it is determined what was decided, as you yourself said that was as of yet unclear, with a promise to remove everything once a final determination on this issue is reached?--Nightvol 16:15, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
        • checking the pages, there appears to be only one active mod who's got his e-peen showing. the others are all inactive. as i said, if they object then we'll have to rethink. the discussion was held in the open, if they'd objected they could have weighed in. for now, though, mr q and cg1 have complied, so that's pretty conclusive to me. you should check out bumcheekcity's site, not my thing but it appears to work. they are pretty stand-up dude and admit it's a work in progress, if it doesn't fit, then ask them and maybe they'll change it. for now, better to remove the pages to show willing and, if your campaign to get them reinstated succeeds i'll ban your ass and nuke them anyway. cool? --Evilkolbot 16:38, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
        • My my, heavy handed, aren't we? I asked simple question and said I promised to remove them. Fine, I'll take them down now, but I don't appreciate your "Ban ban ban" tone. Simple inquiry shouldn't be met with open hostility. I also suggest you take a look at TechSmurf, who is both a Wiki Administrator and whose example I have been following. EDIT: I don't see a delete button. Maybe I'm blind. I blanked the pages and removed the links to them though, so if you can remove the actual pages go ahead.--Nightvol 17:00, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
    • many thanks. sorry if my lame attempt at humour only confused and threatened. --Evilkolbot 22:16, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
      • No worries. I think that your humour tags were broken, which is known to happen on the internet.--Nightvol 00:25, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Resistance Levels

11:26, 2013 November 8‎ Nightvol (Talk | contribs)‎ . . (48,902 bytes) (+21)‎ . . (→‎Resistance Levels: Could somebody with the Great Wolf's Trousers fill in the -4 to -1 numbers please)

  • How is that supposed to work? Great Wolf's beastly trousers do not have a varying vulnerability, just a straight -5. I think you are thinking about the character sheet names. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 18:50, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
    • I was about to say that you could wear the trousers and then some +resist to get -4 to -1, but that's charsheet. Although we do need those in the section below that with charsheet names, I think... — Cool12309 (talk) 21:11, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
      • Exactly my point, we don't have -4 to -1 items, so we don't know those names. And charsheet doesn't show 0 or negative levels, which I have checked with the beastly trousers. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 21:36, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
        • It's for future editors when stuff is released. It took how long to get the -5 in there.--Nightvol (talk) 03:06, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Market data history

Hello friend! I hope you are a right person to ask about this! Market data history no longer appears to be visible past October 12th, 2012. That's the thing where you click "View market statistics" on an item and choose timespan "View all history", or any history past the aforementioned date. --Whack (talk) 07:00, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

Re: this edit

Hello, Nightvol. I presume that you have this intel from some member of TPTB. If this is the case, are you by any chance in possession of a link to the place where it was expressed? That would make a good addition to the mentioned page._Blargh (talk) 15:00, 4 January 2015 (UTC)_

It was spoiled in a KoL Podcast. I don't recall which one, but I believe I made the edit the same day I listened to the episode and I am generally up-to-date, so I would check the episodes released around the date that I made that edit.--Nightvol (talk) 04:26, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
