A couple things I want to say... 1. Do you mind if I edit your page and help out in the "outfitting" process? 2. I think the outfits should be ordered in alphabetical order rather than Outfits by number, because most people don't memorize outfit numbers, and it would be easier to find an outfit if it was in ABC order. 3. I think that in some cases, {{StackItem}} might be more useful than {{InlineItem}} (to make it look better) --CG1:t,c,e 20:00, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

  • 1. I would love the help (Can you edit my page or how do I "allow" you to edit?)
  • 2. I can't disagree. I was also thinking by average power or requirement.
  • 3. I used InlineItem instead of StackItem so each entry would take up less vertical space, but I'd be willing to see how it looks the other way.

    • Oh yeah, anyone can edit your user page as long as they aren't banned from the kolwiki (I think) --CG1:t,c,e 21:25, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
      • I'll change it so that it's in ABC order, too, if there are no objections. seeing as most people don't memorize every item's average power or requirement, I still think that ABC order makes the most sense. In addition, the original outfit page is in ABC order, so with your permission (after all, it is your user page...), I'll start alphabetizing it right away. --CG1:t,c,e 21:36, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

I like the table as it's shaping up on your UserPage, Jupider. Might I suggest something, though? The header? Repeat it every 4-6 outfits. Saves people with seive-like memories from having to scroll back to the top every so often ... --Bork 20:38, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

  • Good call. I'll do that. Thanks. --jupider 20:42, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
    • Um... the coding is pretty thorough, so I don't think that the header should be repeated. I mean, even people with a sieve-like memory can't forget that the "Harem Girl Tattoo" is a "Tattoo". You can't really forget that the "equipment" is actually for the outfit, I mean, there really isn't any other equipment in an outfit's row, and the effect of the equipment is right next to the equipment. Seriously. I'd say it's pretty hard to forget, in general, what each column is for. --CG1:t,c,e 21:24, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
      • This is the wikipedia, not the jupiderpedia. I not gonna stop you if you feel inclined to continue this task. In fact, I'd appreciate it if the community would help out. It's a lot of work for only one person, I don't have a lot of time every day to work on it. So please, feel free to edit/copy/modify/etc.. to your heart's desire. It can always be tweaked and fine-tuned as time goes on. Things can be added and removed very easily for the sake of aesthetics and ease of use. --jupider 22:30, 13 July 2007 (CDT)
        • Don't lose heart. The current outfit page isn't so broken that it needs an immediate overhaul, and we've all got our little pet projects on the Wiki, so you can't expect everyone to chip in. Of course in the time it took me to type this, I could've added another row, so, bleh. I like how it's looking so far, and hope to see the improved page migrated soon. --Bagatelle 16:32, 2 September 2007 (CDT)

Odor Extractor

Concerning the edit linked to in the title... I'm not 100% certain of how the odor extractor mechanic works, but the talk page seems to imply that it doesn't affect combat frequency. Given that Sonofa Beach only has one combat, if the talk page is correct, the extractor wouldn't have an effect. Do you have evidence to the contrary that On the Trail modifies combat frequency? If so, that's important enough to add to the effect page. --Bagatelle 16:32, 2 September 2007 (CDT)
