Log Trophy

Not everybody WANTS to see blatant spoilers for everything on the first glimpse. I think putting specifics on the specific trophy's page and being a little more vague on the list of trophies is a decent compromise. Are you willing to at least consider that possibility? -- Old Ned 04:43, 10 June 2006 (CDT)

Sure, but if you do it for one, then why not do it for all trophies? Why not make it read like this:

  • Little Boat: take a certain number of shore trips in a single Ascension.
  • Big Boat: take a certain number of shore trips in a single Ascension.
  • I Heart Canadia: drink a certain numbner of a certain drink.
  • 100 Pound Load: have familiars with a total of a certain number of pounds.
  • 300 Pound Load: have familiars with a total of a certain number of pounds.

... and so on? Why only make ONE trophy vague, and all the others detailed? - The Wrassedragon 05:11, 10 June 2006 (CDT)

Hmm. I hadn't thought about the other trophies like that; I only got interested in this one because I saw in the diffs history that it had been changed from vague to specific and back several times already just today. Maybe we should do the others that way -- although I suspect that if we did, someone would come along and change them back without even looking at the Talk page.

Y'know, I guess it doesn't matter so much which way we do it, as long as we're consistent. Since most of the trophies are already exact instead of vague, it'll be easier to keep them that way, but if someone comes along and changes them all to vague I won't complain either. -- Old Ned 06:06, 10 June 2006 (CDT)

this is different to the familiar weight trophy, that requiers effort to accomplish, the log torphy is different as it just requiers understanding the refference, if we give them the refference and tell them what to type in then at least a tiny bit of effort is made, change it back if you want though, I won't change it anymore --Enemy Lasagna 06:38, 10 June 2006 (CDT)

Emilio

Turns out the way to add a custom familiar name is by directly editing the {{useitem}} template. Which is pretty ridiculous. Anyway, I added Emilio to the list of custom names. --Starwed 09:40, 25 December 2011 (CET)
