*'''Valentine's Day (next)''': {{#time: F d, Y|@{{#expr: {{Event/next|Frankuary|4}} * 86400 + {{#time: U }}}}}} ({{Event/next|Frankuary|4}} days)
Impressive as it is to do that stuff in wiki markup, I don't think it's going to be very useful. That's HARD to edit and KoL Holidays are not as clockwork-precise as the Gnorman would like. Sometimes they have been a day late. Some of them get celebrated on the in-game calendar day and the out-of-game calendar day. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:29, 3 December 2012 (CET)
- Thanks? for the comment. It is just a way of predicting the next day, if it turns out to be late then that is unpredictable. I don't see why it would need to be edited... Dcorrin 19:46, 3 December 2012 (CET)
- On a more prediction-centric level: We can predict the next Valentine's Day to always be the sooner of the next Frankuary 4th or next February 14th. That's different than always next Frankuary 4th, and in a complicated way. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 20:06, 3 December 2012 (CET)
- I see... you are particularly concerned about Valentine's day. Fixed days and short period days are for a later iteration. It will be a bit harder to program as April appears on both calenders. I just implemented the Days until the next KOL date function. When I have more time I will continue. Dcorrin 21:27, 3 December 2012 (CET)
- I selected that one as an example, but it is not the only KoL holiday that behaves like that. See also Feast of Boris, Dependence Day, St Sneaky Pete's Day, Halloween, and I feel I may be forgetting one. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 23:50, 3 December 2012 (CET)
- OYSTER EGG DAY! (tee hee) --Evilkolbot 00:39, 4 December 2012 (CET)
