Thanks for perservering with the giant castle map. Thankfully, you're no giant procrastinator!  :~) --Gymnosophist 20:37, 10 Sep 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Ummm, why'd you change the number of visits from 9 to 10 to create an empty third visit on the Toot Oriole Quest? --JRSiebz (|§|) 21:13, 10 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

  • Because, although I haven't been able to test it yet, I strongly suspect that, after you return from donning your equipment, the Toot Oriole explains about using your first skill. I haven't seen the message yet because I haven't yet visited the Oriole with no active skills, but the Oriole's next speech doesn't make any sense unless we're missing a visit. --Baltar 02:51, 11 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)

Hobo Drops

  • maybe you didn't see my edit. is there a reason why you're recording the name and image of hobos that are giving you drops? do you believe that they're not random? are you simply recording that you got the drops? in which case, go you. i still think you should stop. why do you think you shouldn't? --Evilkolbot 16:31, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
    • Maybe you didn't see my response? "Perhaps I misunderstood; I was trying to help spade whether the normal hobo drops are completely random, or are related in some way to the name or image. ... If no one cares, I'll stop keeping track." No one -- including you -- responded, so I've been keeping it up. --Baltar 16:35, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
    • (from User Talk:Evilkolbot) Since you apparently didn't see my response to your previous comment, I don't expect that you'll see my response to your more recent one, so I'm repeating it over here: "Perhaps I misunderstood; I was trying to help spade whether the normal hobo drops are completely random, or are related in some way to the name or image. ... If no one cares, I'll stop keeping track." No one -- including you -- responded, so I've been keeping it up. I'm still perfectly happy to stop if it's useless, especially since I've been able to confirm that one can get objects such as the cup of infinite pencils and panhandle panhandling hat even from hobos that are not pictured as holding or wearing them, so I'm reasonably certain that the drops are entirely random --Baltar 16:41, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
      • um, that wasn't a response to an edit of mine. i meant the one here. never mind that, though. useful spading on the "they are random" as far as pictures/drops goes. kudos. adding to the individual talk pages probably isn't useful, though. perhaps you could create a User:Baltar/Hobo Drops page, keep them all in one place. --Evilkolbot 16:57, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
        • Whoops. You're right; I didn't see your edit, and I assumed that you were the same person who'd questioned it before. D'oh. Anyway, as I said, I've no wish to step on anyone's toes, and given that you and at least one other person feel that it isn't useful, I'm happy to stop. I can move the existing notes over here, or leave them where they are -- just let me know which you'd prefer. Thanks! --Baltar 17:01, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
          • whatever you feel, either way works. --Evilkolbot 17:07, 18 July 2008 (CDT)

  • You can link directly to categories by doing Something like this, adding a leading colon makes it so the page isn't added to the category.
    • Whoever you are (Icon315?): Cool, thanks! Feel free to delete that redirect, then. --Baltar (talk) 02:21, 31 December 2017 (UTC)

drippy tree banishing.

Hey I saw your edit and may I ask what item you used for banishing? I used a divine champagne popper and it worked, but it still displayed that message (The creature sinks into the ground) --Illuminati42 (talk) 02:15, 20 April 2020‎ (UTC)

  • I tried both the ice house and the Asdon Martin: Spring-Loaded Front Bumper. Both insta-killed the immediate opponent, but neither banished the drippy tree from the zone. Did the popper really clear out trees for five adventures? --Baltar (talk) 20:15, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Just tried a popper on a tree and got another tree immediately. --Baltar (talk) 20:22, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Huh, I tried it again and I got a tree after 2 turns, but I'm positive that when I tried it yesterday I didn't get a tree for 5 turns. I guess that was a coincidence.
