Description ID

Personally, I've been finding it by finding the address of the pop-up description window (right-click, Properties on IE; right-click, View Page Info in Firefox). Ryo Sangnoir 11:54, 18 October 2006 (CDT)

  • To be specific, if you analyze the URL of a pop-up description window you'll get, then "desc_effect.php?whicheffect=". the alphanumeric "code" after "desc_effect.php?whicheffect=" is the descid. So, for example, "ac32e95f470a7e0999863fa0db58d808" would appear after "whicheffect=" in the pop-up window of Empathy. --CG1:t,c,e 15:46, 14 July 2007 (CDT)

If you are going to change the table, please make sure it looks right before you save the page...and if it doesn't look right and you have already saved, please revert it and leave a note on the talk page so that someone else can fix it. Broken pages are worse than out of date pages.--SomeStranger (t|c) 11:28, 15 January 2007 (CST)

I, in fact, was always totally aware of my breaking tables whenever I edited them. This is due to general inexperience on my part, I do not know exactly what I am breaking and how to fix such. I did, however, presume that someone would come along and fix them, and that has been the case for the past few times. I apologize for any and all inconveniences this has caused. I will attempt to learn the problem and solution when I get free time. (to the Sandbox!) Your concern is appreciated! --'Ivan 06:30, 17 January 2007 (CST)

A Battlefield

You seem to be making changes across the board stating that the rift for The Nearby Plains in the Distant Past opens exclusively at Level 5. However, it opens during part of the new The Wizard of Ego which can coincidentally be triggered at Level 4, thereby not changing the levels that it is accessible during, just the means of getting to it. --TheDotGamer 11:20, 25 January 2007 (CST)

The Wizard of Ego

You stated on the The Wizard of Ego page that a completed bitchin' meat car is required to unlock the wizard of ego. A moments testing will reveal this is not true. Please, check your data before you commit it to the wiki as fact. A lot of people were confused by this before it was corrected. If you are unsure of an idea, or requirement (I.E. you haven't tested it personally, or received verification from someone trustworthy) just put a note up on that articles 'discussion' tab.--Izchak 14:10, 26 January 2007 (CST)
