Top of the Tree, Ma!
You are the top of the tallest tree in the Dreadsylvanian Woods. You'd admire the view, but the view is really grim and depressing.
A luscious-looking fruit hangs at the end of a thin branch, tantalizingly out of reach. A nest of lustbirds (they're like lovebirds, only way, way grosser) rests on a nearby limb. The birds whistle and catcall obnoxiously. Moonlight glints off of something shiny in a crack in the tree's bark.
Stomp on the fruit branch
(With a clan member at the base of the tree and looking upward):
You stomp on the branch, and the luscious fruit falls. A few seconds later, you hear your clanmate <clanmate> shout "Thanks, <player>!"
(The clan member at the base of the tree gains a blood kiwi.)
(With no player at the base of the tree and looking upward):
You stomp on the branch, and the luscious fruit falls. A few seconds later, you hear a muffled splat. Nice work, Food Waster.
(This option does not appear if someone has stomped on the branch from this instance.)
Note: If you intend to knock the blood kiwi down to a catcher, and want to double-check that the catcher is in position, first choose base of tree and look up; if the catcher is in position, you will be told that there's already someone there.
Kick the nest
You kick the nest. There is a beating of wings and a geyser of profanity as the birds take to the sky and head off for grosser pastures. The atmosphere of the woods takes on a decidedly less lascivious flavor.
(No more sleaze monsters will appear in the forest.)
Grab the shiny thing
You pluck the shiny thing out of the crack and examine it—it's even shinier from up close!
You acquire an item: moon-amber
(This option does not appear if someone has already taken the moon-amber from this instance.)
Climb back down
You climb back down. It's way easier than when you climbed up.
