The Defiled Alcove is located in The Cyrpt. Once the conjoined zmombie is defeated, you'll no longer be able to adventure here; instead, you'll get the message, "This part of the cyrpt is already undefiled." See Undefile the Cyrpt Quest for more information. Note that the monsters here will be become available again at The Misspelled Cemetary (Post-Cyrpt) once you have undefiled the rest of The Cyrpt, except for the conjoined zmombie subboss.

A primary stat of 40 is suggested. If your main stat isn't high enough, you'll see the following message:

Zmobies prowl the Defiled Alcove, seeking brrrraaains. But they'll also take your intestines, liver, pancreas, and skin as well. They're not picky. You're not sure if you're up to facing the relentless plodding zmobies or the stark reminder of your own mortality they represent.

(It is recommended that you have at least 40 <mainstat> to adventure here.)

Notes

• Modern zmobie encounter rate scales with bonus Combat Initiative. The encounter rate is [15 + Init/10]%.
• The conjoined zmombie only appears after at least 25 evil is cleared. At that point, it becomes the only adventure in the zone.
