When I recieved the item I was told to snap one of the Fluffy bunny. It auto-snapped when I killed one. The next day I took it to class and they asked for me to snap one of a Crate and they added an Accessory. The new enchantment is 1:2 Macro Lens: +5 Muscle --Heliouse (talk) 03:49, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

As a SC, just got asked for a demonic jigsaw. --Johnny Treehugger (talk) 15:18, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

This turtle tamer was given a motorhead as my first target (--Noskilz (talk) 02:05, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Accordion Thief here: 1st day wastoid, 2nd day perpendicular bat, 3rd day bugbear-in-the-box --Durgrim (talk) 13:40, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

My last monster was the Ghoul. It will not accept specialized ghouls post-crypt. I fear I cannot go further. Attempting to go back to the yearbook club gives me the same monster, yet again. --Heliouse (talk) 21:01, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Returning the same day with the picture taken for tomorrow will not give you the next day's upgrade but will not count as a use of the three returning trips. --Rusty Knight

Would it be more productive at some point to clean up the list of monsters and list what zones the requested monsters may be found in? --Stormfox (talk) 17:02, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

  • Perhaps we should find if there's any pattern to which monsters, e.g. class, level, day... — Cool12309 (talk) 17:08, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
  • Apparently dense liana should no longer appear as a target, per a bug report I filed.--Toffile (talk) 05:46, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

I was just given the Animated Nightstand, worth noting it didn't count those fought via the NC options. Might also be true of other NC-initiated fights.--Coderanger (talk) 00:21, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

  • I got the animated nightstand, and it specifically meant the black one, not via NC. I'd guess it picks exactly one of them, but you can't tell which because they all have the same name.--Ryo_Sangnoir (talk) 00:47, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
    • I've had the white one as a target. It sucks.--Toffile (talk) 11:18, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
    • Had the same happen with an Orcish Frat Boy today. So monsters are probably selected by ID, not name. --Akatosh (talk) 11:26, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Was just given Poutine Ooze for my first assignment (just got the camera today). I do have Little Canadia on this run. --DoTheMario (talk) 10:01, 9, September 2013 (UTC)

Complete camera?

So how many upgrades are there? And what's the trophy for getting them all? --Johnny Treehugger (talk) 21:39, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Does Not Vanish

I don't know if I'm just enjoying a weirdly consistent glitch, or it matters whether the run is hardcore or softcore, but I just freed Ralph in a hardcore run and I still have both my yearbook club camera and my staff of the lunchlady. I didn't make a staff of the lunchlady last time, but I didn't lose my camera after breaking the prism the previous run. Maybe a camera with no upgrades vanishes, but I still have my partially upgraded camera.--Noskilz (talk) 23:57, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

  • I'm pretty sure mine vanished last ascension, I know other school crafts did. This might be a change, since someone asked about the Staff on a radio show and there was some hemming and hawing. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 03:15, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
    • And now that I've broken the prism, it did indeed vanish. You might have had some sort of inventory caching bug. I've seen things on the inventory page that I didn't really have and could not use. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 05:34, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
      • Looking at the forums, he/you might have had the camera/staff equipped, so they might not be lost, although I thought I lost my Staves from AoJ... — Cool12309 (talk) 13:00, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
      • I unequipped it and re-equipped it, and my stats changed in the expected ways, so it seems to be actually there. Jarlsberg staves are definitely different - I've never had any of those survive into aftercore. I hope the camera survival is intentional, since it would be a nice little incentive for repeated KOLHS runs --Noskilz (talk) 18:20, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

That's enough mobs now

  • it seems pretty clear that the club can ask you to take a picture of any mob you have access to. given this, is it still useful to have a list of monsters encountered? i must admit that i've not been checking the list every day and therefore not updating it. can we just update the note that says "it seems to be possible for the Yearbook Club to ask for literally any monster you can encounter" to say something like "The Yearbook Club can ask you for any monster you can currently encounter. This includes KOLHS monsters as well as those from any optional content unlockers you may have active such as an empty agua de vida bottle." --Evilkolbot (talk) 15:43, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
    • Sounds good, but I'd put "moon-sign zones" in there before content unlockers. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 17:01, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
    • I went ahead and added scout seal to the list; I wasn't expecting it to be included in the list even given the above. Oh, and "can currently encounter" verbiage doesn't seem to be strictly accurate - I had exhausted the allowed scout seal encounters for that day when I was asked to photo one. I suppose I could fax one in, I hadn't used that up at the time--Foobar (talk) 19:36, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
    • I got a scout seal today... the day after the event ended. Fortunately I'd just finished upgrading.--Noims (talk) 13:19, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
    • Mobs aka mobiles? Has anyone been asked to photograph wandering monsters. --WhimOrClutters (talk) 20:21, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

--Noims (talk) 13:19, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Photograph assignment changed

Yesterday I was assigned an "official seal," which of course was only available during the SC revamp event. Today, visiting the Yearbook Club, I received this adventure text:

A notice is tacked outside the Yearbook Club room,

Monster Photograph assignments have been randomly changed. For reasons.
-The Management

You walk back into the Yearbook Club, a little tentatively. "All right! Let's see what you've got!" the camera kid says, and plugs your camera into a computer. "Aw, man, you didn't get it? Well, I'll give you another chance. If you can still get us a picture of a Cobb's Knob oven and bring it in tomorrow, you're still in the Club."

Accessory kept between ascensions?

Is it random? Or in order? Can an upgraded +stat one be chosen? And am I right in assuming the parenthetical means that your camera will only ever have one upgrade attached to it even after ascending eight times? Does this upgrade change between ascensions if so? --Leaper (talk) 02:34, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

  • It's entirely linear. If you get at least 1 picture and ascend 3 times, you start off with a camera that has the first 3 upgrades (+5 to all stats). If you did it 7 times, you get +15 muscle, +10 myst, +10 moxie. And so on. -Toffile (talk) 03:23, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
