Talk:Triffid
If you'll remember, the Deku Baba also drops a stick when killed. The creature looks somewhat similar. Also, should Day of the Triffids be italicized? It is a complete and lengthy piece of art, so shouldn't it only be underlined (Which linking does automatically)? --Scorpios 16:09, 11 April 2006 (CDT)
In most cases, underlining instead of italicizing went the way of the typewriter. (Because typewriters, with few exceptions, were unable to change type faces, underlining was just about the only way to emphasize text that was available.) It is rarely used in professional typography. Most style guides indicate that film titles, like book titles, are to be italicized. --RyokoYahagi 16:35, 11 April 2006 (CDT)
Annother message
I just got a message, it used the line "a triffid which spits poison and kills". I really noticed that because it's a line from "Science Fiction, Double Feature" from Rocky Horror picture show. I didn't take a screenshot unfortunately. It was definately occuring in the spooky forrest, but I only think it was when facing a triffid - but it could have ben annother adventure in that area, although not a new one.Teffania 18:26, 2 March 2007 (CST)
