Talk:The Rain King

I vaguely remember there being confusion and inconsistencies in the past about whether a hardcore path boss drops stainless steel items or not. So I take the opportunity and note that the hardcore Rain King does in fact drop a stainless steel item. --Yatsufusa (talk) 17:35, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

This is what he says after you defeat him:

The Rain King slumps over, almost defeated. "No!" he shouts. "You can't beat me! I am the rain! I am the thunder! I am the lightning! I AM the Rain King!"

"Yeah, and I'm the weatherman," you say, "and the forecast calls for clear skies from here on out. It's time for you to dry up!" You throw one more punch at the King, and he dissolves into a puddle of water, without even complaining that he's melting, and what a world, and all that.

The clouds overhead start to dissipate, and the rain finally stops. "I guess it can't rain all the time," you say, and squelch your way over to King Ralph's prism.

Sombody please add this, I can't figure out the code on the page.--Tombot (talk) 01:50, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

Damage cap

Damage cap seems to be 40 --JaAchan (talk) 06:52, 24 September 2014 (UTC)

  • It is 40 – and we know that for over a month, yet you seem to be the first that noticed this vital piece of information was missing from the page. x) Thank you for the heads-up, we really appreciate it. --Yatsufusa (talk) 19:55, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

Effects

The effects removed aren't just positive effects - the rain king just removed On the trail for me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JaAchan (talkcontribs) on 07:29, 11 November 2014

  • In my eyes On the Trail is a pretty positive effect. If he'd remove an effect that would be removed by a Relaxing Hot Tub as well, that would be noteworthy. --Yatsufusa (talk) 12:14, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
