Talk:The Jungles of Ancient Loathing
I added the link to the Cavern entrance. The artwork for this on the actual site is cave.gif. The artwork here on the wiki for cave.gif is the old entrance to The Dark Dank & Sinister cave. The old cave.gif & the new cave.gif are identical but the words "dark Dank & sinister cave" have been erased on the new one.
Basically, they're reusing the old DDS cave art with a slight alteration. I'm not sure how to make wiki use the new cave.gif.

Wiki has the new cave as cave5.gif, I've changed the page to reflect that --AtroPhied 14:02, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
I get a different cave when I enter- text copied to the discussion page for the quiet chamber. --Entwhistle 18:11, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
I notice that after a dozen or two adventures in the jungles in one day, that suddenly I start to get a very high non-combat rate here. Anyone else notice the same?--Hollow49 23:40, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
The 30% Combat Frequency seems very wrong. I have been running 25% NC modifiers which would leave Combat at 5%, but I am still getting combat about half of my adventures. -- Straha 02:31, 4 January 2013 (CET)
- I have done this quest over and over again and +20% noncombat already worked out very satisfactory for me - but now that you mention it, I think I had a little more than one monster every ten fights. Unfortunately I didn't take notes. On the other hand: Maybe it's just the RNG... --Yatsufusa 05:05, 4 January 2013 (CET)
- I didn't think about it before, but a lot of my observations are from after I finished the quest because I've been collecting Wumpus Hair to get the outfit. Perhaps the combat frequency changes after the quest is done. I don't think I've gotten the Entrance to the Forgotten City adventure since completing the quest. -- Straha 01:28, 7 January 2013 (CET)
- Combat rate is definitely very, very wrong. While doing the quest, I had +25% NC and got more than 20 combats over about 40 adventures. I should have gotten roughly two combats. Post-quest wasn't significantly different. Either the combat rate is much higher than 30% (70-80%, I'd guess), or +NC doesn't work. The former seems more likely.--Guyy (talk) 22:56, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
