Hit messages

Too laggy for me to figure out how to format the hit messages, so here they are

He dumps a bucket of water over you, but fortunately it's just confetti -- razor-sharp steel confetti. So I guess what I meant there was 'UNfortunately'. (Normal damage)

He holds out his fingers and asks you to pick two. Then he pokes you in the eyes. (Normal damage)

His third attack does spooky damage (But i failed to copy the message), im going to assume its not a critical as all three attacks did 4 damage to me.

Also, Stat gains were interesting, being as 50 hp monsters dont normally give 41 substats, even with a lvl 20 volleyball.

Clownlord's stats

I'm not sure if this should go on this page or The "Fun" House discussion page, but has anyone found out what moxie is needed for him to deal no damage? Or do his stats scale to yours? --Yan 16:07, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

At 28 moxie I was getting hit 50% of the time - my method is ten rounds of combat and then running away, ten combats for 100 tallies, using moxie from 23 to 30. But now I wonder how to explain the stat gain of 37? --Monod 11:02, 18 October 2007 (CDT)

Looks like it might be 40 hp, 27 defense, and 27 attack? The attack could be spaded more, but I was hit very, very rarely when I had 33 Moxie, and 27 attack would be 34 for no hit. In addition, forcing hits using the pirate book, with a lot more moxie, yielded 5 or 6 damage. Looking at the damage formula for monsters, a 27 attack is at least consistant with that. And of course, having the same attack and defense might make sense. (Although I've heard that def=90% attack is pretty common NS13). --Starwed 04:13, 10 February 2008 (CST)

With 49 moxie, I failed to get the jump with +30% init. With +75% init, I got the jump 10/10 times. Assuming all the formulas are correct, his init is at least 52, but unlikely to be in the 90s. --Starwed 04:41, 10 February 2008 (CST)
