This stacks multiplicatively with other effects

So if I have boosty juice on i get 100 times (10k%) more stats and not three times as many? --Evilkolbot (talk) 11:01, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

- No, a +100% increase equals 200% total, i.e., double what you would normally receive. --Baltar (talk) 22:18, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- which is possibly additive or multiplicative. does a second 100% make it 300%, (additive) or 400%? (multiplicative)

- does it not add all the percentage boosts up and then apply them? (additive) so if the bonuses are (100+ 50 + 20) then it adds them up to 170 and applies that. which is not what the page says. it says it applies them multiplicatively, so 'multiplies' by 2, then 1.5 then 1.1 for a total boost of 260%. which is very different. --Evilkolbot (talk) 13:03, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

- What makes this "multiplicative," I believe, is that instead of just adding +100% to the food's base stats, it multiplies the
*modified*stats by +100%. It's still doubling, not 100x, but it doubles*everything*. Thus, if you use Boosty Juice and have this effect, you should get 400% (4x) stats: the base (100%), +100% for Juicy Boost, then doubled. In your second example, where you have this plus two other effects giving +50% and +20% bonus stats, you should get 340% (3.4x) stats: the base (100%), +70% fpr the two bonuses, then doubled. Make sense? (Please note that this is just my interpretation; I haven't spaded it myself. I'm positive, however, that it doesn't give 100x anything ) --Baltar (talk) 02:04, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
