Talk:Talk to Sven Golly
For both my charaters and a clannie, the extra text is "Here's what you've learned from the band's entoruage:
1. Bognort isn't the drummer, and craves something white.
2. Flargwurm isn't the one who craves booze.
3. Stinkface, the vocalist, isn't the one craving something soft.
4. The bassist craves sweets, and the guitarist hates soft things.
5. Jim isn't the guitarist, and the drummer isn't the one who hates soft things.
6. Flargwurm hates the color white, and the drummer hates booze."
Since the solution shoould be the same for the same clues, I'm not sure we're supposed to spoil it. But I'm afraid I don't know how to add this part to the page, nor if EVERY one is getting the same group, or if there's a set it choses randomly from.--Watermoon 22:38, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Svengali ?
- Most certainly. --Ackyri 01:54, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
The "respectfully" Sven uses continously is a reference to Jimym Fallons character in Almost Famous. The label brings him to the band as a new manager, and he proceeds to tell them that they don't know what they are doing, but peppering "respectfully" throughout. --Dirkle 13:57, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Spoiling?
So... is there a question as to whether we're going to spoil it or not? I've put the solution on my user page if anyone's curious in the meantime. You're also welcome to take the solution from there and put it on the article. --Ackyri 01:54, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, could use the Spoiler tag to do it... Needs content says that it should have the solution, but the spoiler tag means that it won't be quite as visible... One question though, is the marshmallow equivalent to the paper? --Theraze 02:31, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
- No. Marshmallow is white and sweet, the paper is white and boozy.--Fluxxdog 04:36, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
put the solution on this page already, I fucking hate logic puzzles LMTR14 11:44, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Solving puzzle ends non-combats
From my experience, one you finish this puzzle, the non-combats backstage stop occuring. Anyone experience differently?--Fluxxdog 03:58, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
