"Lee Van Cleef generators" seems like a reference to Wikipedia:Van de Graaff generators, which generate lots of static electricity. Also, Wikipedia:Lee van Cleef was an actor who was in several western movies...I don't quite see how the two relate, though. --Rincewind 16:09, 11 October 2007 (CDT)

Lee Van Cleef was typically cast as a villian, and it wasn't uncommon for sci fi villians to have Van de Graaff generators as a part of their labs in the back ground. It's a strech but a note about the referenced generators at least ought to be put in.--watermoon 18:31, Oct 11 (PDT)
