Combat: Round 1! You're fighting a screambat
With an unholy shriek, a screambat descends from the ceiling of the bat hole, its gargantuan mouth --
Oh, holy cow. That shriek was just a regular bat getting out of the screambat's way. Let's start again.
With an eardrum-shattering, earth-shaking bellow, a screambat descends from the ceiling with murder in its eyes, and a whole lot of volume in its voicebox.
You get the jump on it.
You fish around in your opponent's pocket, but you don't find anything.
It asks you if you like scary movies. You decline to answer. You distract it and punch it in the stomach when it's not looking. It deals 1 damage, and leaves it reeling. Monster Attack Monster attack power reduced by 1 Monster Defense Monster defense reduced by 1
NOM NOM NOM pulls a bone shard out of the organ grinder and stabs it for 24 damage, shouting "Stick that up yer Khyber, ya chav!"
You win the fight!
The bat fills its lungs for one more mighty shriek, running from low enough to vibrate your guts to high enough to make a chihuahua's head explode. NOM NOM NOM rummages around in its body, picking a few choice bits to put in his grinder.

- About as good a stat gains as any other monster there, 4-5 stat or so...and if you haven't unlocked everything, its last scream acts like a sonar, so that'd be just like you got one from a drop, but you don't even have to go to your inventory to use it. --Jimfromtx 16:26, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Copied Bat
I removed this note:
- If you have not yet gained access to The Bat Hole, fighting a copied Screambat will open the location, but all three passageways will be blocked.
Since it did not work for me. (Level 3 HC TT). If it does work under some other specific conditions, those need to be listed. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 17:45, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
