Talk:Recover the Sisters' Meat
Shouldn't there be some kind of list for the names? --Tularion 04:44, 21 July 2007 (CDT)
- There is, on a couple of the related pages. The list is something like Hippocampus, Fornix, Colliculi, Ganglia, and Cerebellum. --Sparksol 05:00, 21 July 2007 (CDT)
Is there some kind of shortcut, like the one for the dook farm? Maybe something like a combination of a chaos butterfly and a meat vortex?--Blzbob 04:10, 22 August 2007 (CDT)
Does meat vortex/running away have the same effect as meat vortex/CLEESH.--TehChozenOne 03:26, 26 December 2007 (CST)
- Er, the article already says, "The nuns do not take any Meat acquired by using a meat vortex, black plastic oyster egg, Cocoabo, or a Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot." --Bagatelle 15:24, 26 December 2007 (CST)
- Added to the note to clarify/expand the point. --Lukarnis 14:26, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
to my Knowledge if you cleesh a monster and kill it you just get 9-10 meat and an eye of newt, squashed frog, or salamander spleen. would that not mean if you cleesh it you dont get the good meat drops.--Qbr12 19:38, 13 February 2008 (CST)
- Yes, that's always been the case. CLEESH changes the monster you're fighting in entirety. You would use the vortex before cleeshing.--Flargen 20:44, 13 February 2008 (CST)
I can't believe it took me this long to notice, but the sisters here could also be called Brain Sisters. --Sparksol 00:21, 16 April 2008 (CDT)
- whuh? --Evilkolbot 23:00, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
The main page for this makes it look like cleeshing or meat vortexing seperately will allow you to keep the meat which is not the case. You have to vortex and THEN CLEESH in order to keep the vortexed meat. --Francis of Bacon 14:39, Nov 2 2008
- Do you have any proof of this because I have done it myself of the meat vortex to gain meat for myself. The article states that if you were so inclined to you could go for infinite meat by vortexing and then cleeshing. --Chunky_boo 19:59, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- afaicr, the cleeshing is just so the quest doesn't end, you get to keep the meat you vortex no matter what. --Evilkolbot 23:00, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
I think that the sisters in the castle are a reference to Monty Python's and the Holy Grail's "Castle Anthrax." ("Please, let us tend to your wounds")--Civilizati 3 00:05, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Maybe, but it's something of a strech, given that anyone could say that.--Brion thenotgiant 03:50, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
It appears that the Lasagmbie does generate meat that the Sisters will take. I did this with a lowish-level one, though, with Winklered and Preternatural Greed active. Can someone confirm? -- Snugglypoo 12:38, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
So just today I lucked into this result: You gain 5510 Meat (100000 collected total). And I got the "you're almost done!" message from the nuns. Therefore I posit that definitely the 100,000 mark (and probably all the other marks) are actually > X,000 instead of >= X,000. --Hellion 03:21, 30 January 2013 (CET)
Tried using skeletal rogue today, and all that happens is enhancing my meat stash. Nuns don't get it. --Wertperch (talk) 04:45, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
Out of Uniform
Ryo just added today that he finished out of uniform before the war ended and it got counted as a Frat win. I had the same result completing the quest after the war, and had updated Dirty thieving brigand instead of this page. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 17:23, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
