Talk:Ravenous Pounce
Let's start spading out how much damage this does. Here are my figures, including fullness and remaining fullness:
- 15 Fullness (15 remaining): 163, 176, 156, 186
- 16 Fullness (14 remaining): 177, 154
- 17 Fullness (13 remaining): 166, 162, 178, 159
- 18 Fullness (12 remaining): 146, 136, 165, 152, 154, 147, 138
- 19 Fullness (11 remaining): 135, 133, 136
- 20 Fullness (10 remaining): 128, 159, 169, 127

All except for the last two data points (which I've bolded) were in the Airship; the last two were in the Castle. All were at level 10, using the Curmudgel as a weapon, fuzzy busby as a hat, and no other items which have +damage --Sel Ibrix 02:24, 21 August 2012 (CEST)

It's clear that at elemental damage is being applied as a bonus. Bonus weapon damage may be as well. --Sel Ibrix 06:29, 21 August 2012 (CEST)
I don't have concrete numbers, but it seems that as I approach maximum fullness, the damage this skill does begins to get closer and closer to what I can get from casting Distracting Minion. It's probably a normal weapon attack that always hits and gets a bonus in proportion to (max fullness - current fullness). RegalStar 07:10, 21 August 2012 (CEST)
The damage formula appears to be real simple: HungerRemaining * Multiplier + Weapon Damage where Multiplier is a random value between 6.5 and 7.5. Critical hits, bonus elemental damage, and the like function normally as dictated by the Weapon Damage formula. I still need to do more testing to confirm the multiplier, and I'd welcome anyone else who wants to help me check. Keep in mind that if you took The Mongoose as your moon sign, it gives a +20% Physical Damage bonus that you'll need to take into account.--Tainted Food Product 00:52, 8 September 2012 (CEST)
