Will the fish scales finally have a good use to them? I can imagine these becoming multi-usable, and crafting them into a suit of scale mail armor ... something to look forward to if it ever gets implemented -- AvangionQ (March 14th, 2009)

Worth it?

Wait, so, unless my math is completely off here - why would you ever want to trade in your dull scales for these?

• 1 Dull Scale = 40 meat
• 10 Dull Scales = 1 Rough Scale = 400 meat
• 1 Rough Scale = 120 meat
• 10 Rough Scales = 1 Pristine Scale = 1200 meat
• 1 Pristine Scale = 480 meat

so, it costs 100 Dull scales to make 1 Pristine Scale... if you sell all 100 of the Dull scales, you'd get 4000 meat - instead of the meager 480 meat you get for the pristine scale... --SeiferTim 15:33, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
