Hard to divine how much the skill helps without exhaustive testing. However, Jick mentions in a forum thread that "the item drop and Meat drop [skills from the Gnome camp] effectivenesses (?) have both been doubled. They were pretty low to begin with, though." I don't think he would change Obs to match Mad Looting Skillz, so I'm guessing it's under 20%. And Jick likes numbers divisible by 5, so it probably wasn't 7.5% doubled to 15%. I cast my guess at the skill now being worth an extra 10% item drop. He thought it was sufficient for Expert Panhandling, so maybe he thinks it's good enough here, too. --Braingeyser 18:42, 25 Jul 2005 (Eastern Standard Time)

I agree with Braingeyser (although I'm a little late). My trial (Talk:Knott Yeti) indicates a 13.95% increase in drops over 215 adventures. The evidence for Gnefarious Pickpocketing is strongly biased towards a 10% increase, and I'd believe that PoO and GP mirror each other, despite my high increase. --Snickles 20:16, 12 Sep 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
