• The "dam" reference in the item description also refers to the old Infocom game Zork, in which you use a monkey wrench to open a dam.

The object in Zork I is just "a wrench", and referring to the Zork adventurer as "you hippie" makes no sense, so this seems doubtful. "The Monkey Wrench Gang" reference fits much better. --Jonrock 22:14, 27 January 2008 (CST)
