The design of the monolith (path and cross) and the fact that it's a monolith that shows a map could be a reference to the computer game Heroes of Might and Magic. --Trilusion 08:09, 11 April 2006 (CDT)

  • If you choose to copy the map are you able to get the adventure again? If choose another option are you able to get it again? Does the old adventure still exist? --SomeStranger 08:40, 11 April 2006 (CDT)
    • You can get the adventure again if you choose another option. I could not resist trying to hit a monkey the first time ;) --Hurax 10:40, 17 April 2006 (CDT)

  • I can't get this adventure... I could have sworn I got it before, but I had an on and off sabbatical, and when I came back there was no map in my inventory, I didn't know where to plant the sapling and I've spent countless adventures trying for it. Am I dooooooomed? Slavedriver 16:24, 15 June 2006 (CDT)

Squirrel!

Instead of ink plant, it said "...a nearby, umm, squirrel."

I was a female seal clubber at level 2, if that has anything to do with it. --Mjavabean 08:30, 22 October 2006 (CDT)

  • Th exact new text is "nearby... umm... squirrel" - I've changed the page. --Gymnosophist 08:57, 22 October 2006 (CDT)

Nerfing the MacGuffin quest?

If it's true that ignoring the monolith means that it doesn't show up again in that ascension, does it totally nerf the Holy MacGuffin quest by making the Hidden Temple inaccessable, or has that been changed? --Daltonator 14:36, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

If you choose not to make a copy of the map you just won't get the adventure again for that day. After rollover you should be able to encounter it again. I chose not to make a copy yesterday and couldn't get it later when I tried, but this morning after about 5 adventures it occurred and I got the map. --Ruby gloom 08:59, 2 September 2007 (CDT)
