Tatoo text..

To see so many ancient artifacts of the Masters of Groove worn by a single individual it truly inspirational! Please allow me to immortalize this momentous occasion!

Effect

Suggestion: "Enhances -ML effect of DB skills". The -ML effect is a primary aspect of the DB class, yet no individual component of this outfit enhances that very important class characteristic. It seems highly unlikely that there is *no* effect for having the full set equipped, and -ML would be very easy to overlook (since the magnitude is not reported and must instead be deduced using a well-controlled experiment). If anybody is willing to do the spading, please check out this theory. --Lennalf 03:57, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

I know it isn't a HUGE spade, but I adventured in the castle around 20 turns with nothing but a giant hook equipped and got ~181 MPA(meat per adventure) which -20% meat drop comes out to be about 145 MPA. I then put on the Legendary Regalia of the Groovelord and got an average of ~212 MPA -43% +Meat Drop = ~170 MPA, so a 25 meat difference. 145*20%=29 which is close.

So i do aggree--User:Icon315/sig00:13, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
I disagree. I put on the outfit, minus the 'fro pick, and got the following distinct meat drops from beanbats: 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49. Wearing the whole outfit: 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49. I think you're mistaking the +23% meat on the banjo for the outfit effect. In other news, I spent about 200 adventures at the Orcish Frat House trying to pickpocket beer nuts, and I'm almost positive the outfit also doesn't have a +pickpocket chance on it. --Johnny Treehugger 15:19, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
To follow up: there is some fuzzy math in the first post. If you got 181 MPA with a +20% meat drop, then the base meat drop is 181/1.2 = 151. If you got 212 MPA with a 43% meat drop, then the base meat drop is 212/1.43 = 148. So I agree with Johnny; it looks like the outfit has no effect. --TheArchivist 15:49, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Looks like it's +init. Against a fluffy bunny (50 init) with me having a total -50% init (Ososp +20, Disco 'Fro Pick +11, 7 turns of Lustful Heart +14, spangly mariachi vest -25, solid gold pegleg -50, tap shoes -20) and without wielding the weapon, I couldn't run away. I equip the weapon, and now I can.

I can also run away with 2 turns of Lustful Heart left, but I failed to run away once.

Spading will continue once I get more love songs. I hate you, 'fro pick. --Deus Ex Machina 14:16, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

At -100 init (as the first example, but replace the solid gold pegleg with the makeshift SCUBA gear), I couldn't flee from the bunnies - I tested it over four adventures (yes, with +14 from Lustful Heart each time), and no luck. At -95 init (ososp +20, Disco 'Fro Pick +11, Lustful Heart +14, black face -40, makeshift SCUBA gear -100) I was able to run away. So, it looks like +50 init, unless I did something wrong? --Deus Ex Machina 19:01, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

I think perhaps this is halving Monster Defense. thread here--RoyalTonberry 05:55, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
