Talk:Jackin' the Jukebox
From TheKolWiki
Timrem undid MogamboRanger's reference:
- The statement that the jukebox will play when "struck by someone sufficiently cool" is a reference to Fonzie on the TV show Happy Days, who could turn on a jukebox or pinball machine by striking them.
That seems a perfectly valid reference. AFAIK, Fonzie was the first to be hitting jukeboxes to make them play. Happy Days says of Fonzie, in the one paragraph introduction of the character: "His coolness gave him special powers, such as making machinery (such as Arnold's jukebox, electric lights, and car engines) function by pounding his fist, or getting the attention of girls by snapping his fingers." --Club (#66669) (Talk) 05:51, 6 March 2012 (CET)
- this reference is elsewhere. it's such a no-brainer that only a direct intervention (such and by riff over the guy made of bees) could cause its removal. i vote for putting it back. --Evilkolbot 08:19, 6 March 2012 (CET)
- I also agree that the reference is valid. --Turing 14:02, 6 March 2012 (CET)
