Talk:Infernal Officer

Name (and rank) of the seal general is randomly generated, it seems. I encountered: "General Limb-Break the Bad", and "Staff Sergeant Guts-Blast the Monstrous" on two different characters.--Graymalkin (#624900) (talk) 05:13, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Same here. I had "Sergeant Major Skullwhack the Treacherous." --Megustalapasta (talk) 05:42, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Okay, so is there an official name for this thing so we can move the page there? —Yendor (talk) 06:21, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

I had "Master Chief Death-Whack the Rotten", and because I was an SC, the final line was "He sees you and his eyes widen with... could it be fear? He must recognize you as a Seal Clubber." (And for some reason no edit toolbar to sign my post) --Valliant (talk) 07:42, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

I found two other pages for this monster so far. I changed the links on the map and the seal medal to this page, since it's the one with the most information and the best formatting. I also added a note, so hopefully others will realize, they don't need to create yet another page for the very same monster. --Yatsufusa (talk) 11:58, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Mine was named "Sergeant Goregash the Gruesome." So, it looks like "Rank Name1(-)Name2 the Adjective." --Terrimas (talk) 19:25, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Elemental Resist?

When battling this guy, I found that groovy prism necklace dealt 1 damage each time, and that elemental alignment (Wand of Oscus) only dealt 1 damage in stench. Can someone else confirm that he has 100% elemental resist, or is it just non-club elemental damage? --The ErosionSeeker (talk) 13:24, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

I happened to be wielding the Club of Five Season and all the elemental damage was reduced to 1. --Nerdanel (talk) 13:29, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

I observed that he didn't reduce the (direct) damage of the weapon in my off-hand. Since it didn't really reach my cap of 50 (non-SC) that's not said much, but it could be a way to increase the damage per round if anyone is struggling to beat/survive this seal. --Yatsufusa (talk) 17:57, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Never misses

I was going for a level 30 trophy and had 500 moxie. Nevertheless the seal hit me every time. It looks like it never misses, no matter what the stats on the page say. --Nerdanel (talk) 13:29, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

It seems (to me) that the name is actually generated from two phrases, which may or may not be hyphenated, instead of a long list of names. --Invariel 16:38, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

  • Looks like that to me as well. I'm just not sure if it keeps being readable if we hack those apart. --Yatsufusa (talk) 16:53, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
