I've gotten the base tattoo and have upgraded it once - each time you upgrade it, the old tattoo goes away, so you can only have one 'version' of the tattoo at a time. The "other achievements" in the quest log also appears to only count it once. --Quietust (t|c) 11:17, 26 June 2008 (CDT)

• Also, if you're wearing the hobo tattoo when you get an upgrade, you have to go tou your account and re-wear it to see the more recent one. I upgraded from #2 to #4 and my profile still showed #2 until I went and re-selected it. --Shogun42 10:46, 16 July 2008 (CDT)
  • I've observed the same thing as Shogun42. Some other details: the tattoo doesn't auto-update to the improved one at rollover; and you can't go back to an earlier version, even with remote form submission. I've reported the update bug in-game. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 18:39, 16 July 2008 (CDT)

I suppose nobody has the complete tattoo yet? I just wondered... since there is speculation on a 21st glyph: does the complete tattoo maybe make you able to discern another meaning from it and thus adds another hobo code to the binder? --DerMagus 07:38, 2 July 2008 (CDT)

  • The question is: does this tattoo act like a glyph? The 20 glyph adventures all give you notes in the code binder about what the glyphs mean and the description of the tattoo indicates you dont know what it means. Nickel Count is Confusing

Upon initial reading, the "+60 Nickels", etc makes it seem like each purchase costs that much more than the previous one rather than it costs +20 each time. From discussing it with other clannies, I know that I'm not the only person who was confused after first seeing that. So unless someone can convince me that the current write-up is better, I'm going to remove the plus signs to make it less confusing. --Kitsunegami 05:27, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
