I added the fruit golem random hand-out, because it is very profitable to obtain grapefruits this way, when using statis strategy. There are only a few other items being handed out randomly since these new effects, I would like to add them as well, then saw the note made in history about not doing this, but discussing it first.
For me personally, I come to item pages to see where I can get them or what they do. Since these random hand-outs are quite frequent (currently looking at 12 grapefuits in less then 10 encounters), I think they're an important source, especially in hardcore/ronin where you may not want to spend adventures at the shore and in the sewer just to get the island. Currently, it has swung my descision to turn up ML, rather then move on to level 2.--MoreCurious 12:38, 29 March 2007 (CDT)
- I agree with you. I think the only other items obtaining this way were introduced from that Tuesday, March 6, 2007 update: the orange and wad of dough. It only makes sense to list all mean of obtaining the item on the page, especially since there are so few items that are obtainable this way. --TheDotGamer 22:04, 29 March 2007 (CDT)
- I'm not sure I agree with you adding it to the drop locations though. Typically this is used for end of combat drop locations, but like I mentioned in my previous post there are very few items that have this new special property. Perhaps drop locations should include all items obtainable through the use of adventures. --TheDotGamer 22:11, 29 March 2007 (CDT)
- I think 'all items obtainable through the use of adventures' is the most intuitive. For instance, you don't get tassels at the end of a combat situation. Maybe this could be a bit more structured and notes kept for actual notes. Something like a Drop Locations section and a NPC section. --MoreCurious 15:13, 30 March 2007 (CDT)
