Talk:Golden Mr. Accessory
From TheKolWiki
so, if i have three GMAs equipped, is that 15 smiles/day or still 5? and if i have 10 GMAs in my inventory as well, do i get 65 smiles? --Evilkolbot 14:08, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- I think you have to equip it to have the skill, The Smile of Mr. A, and then you can only use that skill 5 times a day kinda like advanced saucecrafting. Wearing more than one Golden Mr. A does not give more casts of the skill or more skills.--Dehstil (T | C) 14:28, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- I've seen claims elsewhere that additional Golden Mr. Accessories do give you additional Smiles. Perhaps we should find somebody who actually has more than 3 of these to see what happens. --Quietust 14:47, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- we could ask chatbot, she's got two. or fnord, maybe, he's a nice chap. --Evilkolbot 15:59, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- My understanding is that you don't even have to have them equipped, or in inventory; if you have them in Hagnk's, you can still bestow smiles / boxes on others (for the appropriate MP, of course). And yes, having 13 GMAs would give you 65 bestowable smiles. --Hellion 16:58, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- Hellion has got it. Also, I believe you acquire the skill when you purchase the GMA from Mr. Store. I remember hearing cases of people getting a second GMA via White Wednesday, and only being able to cast the skill 5 times. --Ricket 17:47, 8 June 2006 (CDT)

"Merely having the Golden Mr. Accessory in your inventory, closet, or Hagnk's..." ...but not the Display Case? Is this correct? I ask because it isn't specified in the article, and of course I don't have a GMA of my own to test it. --Billybobfred 21:34, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- It probably works from the display case, too. The message on the page is basically a slight reworking of the August 2, 2005 update that allowed the skill to work when not wearing the item. (Five years ago? Wow, it doesn't seem that long.) Someone should test, though. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 23:15, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- Just confirmed that it works from display cases as well. Will update the page. --X1a4 (talk) 22:30, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
