This monster looks almost exactly like the overdone flame-broiled meat blob - is this right? --Gymnosophist 21:33, 20 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Can one truly choose which meat is the right meat? Are we capable of classifying meat beyond how old or dry it is, even if it's meat from yesterday? How can one be assured that the meat one gets from a meat vortex clean meat? How do we know the previous owner of the meat we have recieved in the mall washed their hands on a regular basis? Or what about the meat we get from Little Canadia? If one can control the minds of the monsters of the kingdom, surely they could easily taint the meat they drop, them being the master chef's they all are. One specific example of how meat should be handled is in the Alas, poor Merchant adventure. So whether it be the salvaged meat from a Vintage Bitchin' Meatcar's engine, the meat the Yetis drop, despite the Hippies having stopped protesting, the stringy meat scraped from the chest of a Bonerdagon, or the meat you get from selling your items to a stranger with candy, one must remember that meat is meat.

Shortened Version: They are SO different! The overdone flame-broiled meat blob just SEEMS to be the same because in the kingdom, there's only black and white...And those colors in chat...but those don't count.--Teenr0cker 21:03, 23 Sep 2005 (MDT)

I was about to add this to talk:Overdone flame-broiled meat blob, but since this discussion is already here...ah well. Is the overdone version available after ascension?I never noticed it before ascending, but after ascension I constantly saw it, with a lack of the normal version.

I happened to fight this version (NOT the overdone one) and saved a .gif file. It's named, "meatblob.gif". So, for looks, the two are the same. As for statistics, I suppose the table below answers that. --MagiNinjA 14:56, 1 January 2007 (CST)

Ok. If you click on the pictures for the overdone meat blob and the flame-broiled meat blob, they are both meatblob.gif, so as [[User:MagiNinjA|MagiNinjA] said, the pictures for the two are obviously the same, because they have the same name... --Coolguy00001 14:22, 13 February 2007 (CST)

Uh, from what I've gathered, the overdone blob is simply more powerful, rare, and likely to drop meat paste. And, Teenr0cker seems to be right. Also, it does not replace regular blobby, but I have noticed it does seem only to appear post-ascension. --MrGuy 19:39, 29 August 2006 (CDT) MrGuy
