After Implementation

Implemented now 9:28pm est December 14 2006

Adventure gain, 5, 3, 1 with each chocolate, after 3 they don't add anymore adventures. This includes fancy chocolate from last year's Crimbo, so if you ate a Probably Evil first, you'd get 5, if you then ate a Fancy Chocolate, you'd get 3.

You eat the fancy but probably evil chocolate. It's filled with spiders! Poisonous spiders! Poisonous spiders who take turns biting you on the tongue!

You acquire an effect: Poisoned

(duration: 5 Adventures)

You gain 5 Adventures.
  • OHogan

another effect of it

You eat the fancy but probably evil chocolate. It's filled with essential oil of wormwood. You start to hear the giggling of the Green Fairy. You acquire an effect: Dreams and Lights (duration: 5 Adventures)

Adventures You gain 5 Adventures.

and a reference to boot! wormwood is used to make absinthe, a hallucinogenic liquor. It is commonly known as the Green Fairy. This may, however be a reference to Moulin Rouge in which the protagonist drinks absinthe and hallucinates that there is a literal, giggling, green fairy.--Doran Draco 20:37, 14 December 2006 (CST)

It appears to follow the pattern - I ate two, and the second one was only worth 3 adventures. Hopefully, somebody will spade this out completely.--Dornbeast 22:17, 14 December 2006 (CST)

You eat the fancy but probably evil chocolate. It's filled with gamma rays! Graaaaaaaagh! You acquire an effect: Incredibly Hulking (duration: 5 Adventures)

Adventures You gain 5 Adventures.--Andy00 22:21, 14 December 2006 (CST)

Before Implementation

Not implemented yet? Then why do I have one? His noodleyness 22:28, 13 December 2006 (CST)His Noodleyness

Me too! So it's not just you that has that problem (if it is). --Toodles 22:47, 13 December 2006 (CST)

Have you tried to use it? By not implimented they mean there is no result from using this.--Darkness 22:57, 13 December 2006 (CST)

Do you get this if you haven't obtained the time sleigh yet?

Ok, I may have introduced an error into the wiki. It appears that all players in the game get one of these from their advent calendars today. I have not been able to confirm this with anyone who has not yet obtained the time sleigh. Can anyone confirm if it's different for those players? If so, then please correct the article. Thanks!! ColtsScore 00:08, 14 December 2006 (CST)

-Just conferming that it is the same with the sleigh --ImperialBest 00:28, 14 December 2006 (CST)

so what does it do? ~russianspy1234

-My HCO has not got the time sleigh, yet still received the Fancy But Probably Evil Chocolate.--Morticus 00:39, 14 December 2006 (CST)

-You may recall that last year's Advent Calendar gave the fancy chocolate on days 14-16. I would guess it's the the same idea this year.--Bob452 12:15, 14 December 2006 (CST)

What is the use description?

I have one in my inventory and I don't know if this is a good effect or a bad so I'm waiting for the description. Who here has used it? --Cheeetar 09:13, 14 December 2006 (AEST)

  • If it's anything like the chocolate we got the last year - and it probably is - then it has multiple possible effects. Could be either bad or good. Personally, I wouldn't risk eating them. Better to just sell them to some collector... --Andemon 12:32, 14 December 2006 (CST)

Read the notes section :P When used, it says it's not implemented yet. nothing happens. --Deranged Cat 04:23, 14 December 2006 (CST)

Still not implented.--Akatosh 11:23, 14 December 2006 (CST)

Funny that no one is speculating on what it will do. Theres another Fancy chocolate that was implemented the sametime last year that gave some extra turns and buffs. If this is true - the advent calendar should be spitting these out for the next couple of days. I would think that the item would be similar, but w/ different/spooky buffs Grimdel 11:08, 14 December 2006 (PST)

  • Actually, Andemon above already had speculated upon that fact roughly half an hour before you posted (seeing as how central time is two hours ahead of pacific). Please read the discussion more closely before adding your contributions. --Risrepkel 17:42, 14 December 2006 (CST)

Dreams and Lights effect

When you get the Dreams & Lights effect, do you really get no adventures? --Emtu 22:45, 14 December 2006 (CST)

The amount of adventures you get is dependent upon how many chocolates you've consumed. You get 5 for the first one, 3 for the second, 1 for the third, and 0 for each thereafter. --TheDotGamer 23:05, 14 December 2006 (CST)
When I asked that, the effects all had the "You gain 5 adventures" message listed with them, but Dreams and Lights didn't. That's why I asked; the page has changed since then. --Emtu 23:31, 14 December 2006 (CST)
Yeah, I figured that. I was the one who reformatted the page too. --TheDotGamer 23:40, 14 December 2006 (CST)

Bloody Hand effect

The listed HP gain for when the Bloody Hand effect is received is 80. However, when I got the effect, it said I only got 1 HP. Perhaps it restores all your hit points? I don't know if that restored my HP because I used another one and got the Incredibly Hulking effect. --TheDotGamer 23:40, 14 December 2006 (CST)

I would assume that the blood result restores all HP, like the aloe vera in the Fancy chocolate. Along the same vein, I would imagine that the witches brew is the same as the boiling rootbeer, in that it causes -5 HP and restores all MP (the currently-listed 1 MP is probably because the eater had full MP at the time.) --Terion 09:14, 15 December 2006 (CST)

Days Received

I got another one tonight. Edited the main article to reflect this. --Dmagus 00:35, 16 December 2006 (CST)

Use Multiple

Why is that text at the top of the page? There is no use multiple button, unless I'm misunderstanding what it means. -SkylineBNR34 12:58, 20 December 2006 (CST)

And a followup, eating four on the same day shows the same messages as fancy chocolate, unless it went over my head again. -SkylineBNR34 13:03, 20 December 2006 (CST)
I was the one who put that there initially, since I copied the extra adventures section from fancy chocolate. Note that I said multiple use, not use multiple, meaning, the text when the second one is used is "This one doesn't taste as good as the last one did.", the text when the third one is used is "You're starting to get tired of eating chocolate." and each thereafter is "You didn't enjoy that chocolate at all." All I was wondering was if the text is 100% identical to that of fancy chocolate. I assume it would be since nobody has changed it at this point, but as I haven't confirmed it, I won't remove it. --TheDotGamer 19:02, 20 December 2006 (CST)

Fancy chocolate effects were listed as 5 adventures, 10 adventures, or 5/10 adventures, yet all of these are listed as 5. Are fancy [but probably evil] chocolate effect durations affected by Impetuous Sauciness? --Quietust (t|c) 10:58, 16 January 2007 (CST)

Bloody Hand

You know when you get the bloody hand from the chocolate, it says the description is wrong. Could this be somewhat related to Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix when, the quill he used used used his own blood and it was on his hand, maybe? That would kinda make more sense.--Well 23:50, 17 October 2007 (CDT)

  • It's most likely just that when the consumption message was written, they didn't check to see what the description for bloody hand was. I believe someone mentioned this to radiobugbear and the response was "you're biting your own hand". I might be entirely misremembering that, though. --TechSmurf 00:08, 18 October 2007 (CDT)
