Talk:Deactivated O. A. F.
Wait... if the Traveling Trader has these, how was it programmed by the Knob scientists? --MrAndersonMan
- Obviously, he went into a partnership with the Knob Goblins to have they programmed for Kingdom use. So they'd be in our language, and know the prices and usefulness of our items, along with current exchange rates. Sadly, the Knob Goblins bungled about with the insides to them. This also explains the cost.--Galapagos James 02:47, 1 April 2007 (CDT)
It item is a hardware upgrade, which seems to make it act less often. So far, it has taken mana points (about 6) and buffs away because they were ' suboptimal' It standard messages are: You hear a sizzling noise, and a puff of blue smoke wafts out of Tron's rear vent. And extra with the hardware upgrade: A clanking and grinding of gears emerges from somewhere in Tron's robotic innards.
After combat messages include: Tron starts humming the chorus to "Daisy Bell".

Is it at all possible that this item set a no delete flag at least on the day they were sold, even if they don't any more? Because my character is marked no-delete now, and I have no idea why. Silophant 23:10, 8 June 2007 (CDT)
Yeah they did, I know several people who got no-delete because of this and had never handled a Mr. Store-related item or a dreidl, including a multi of mine. /r/ further research on this, because if I edited it, the page would just get changed back. --Vampiric 15:20, 27 April 2008 (CDT)
Add me to the list of people who had an account get the no-delete flag after getting one of these. I had two accounts without that flag at the time. One got an O.A.F., one did not, and the one that did got the flag. - The Wrassedragon 17:06, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
