Talk:Counterclockwise Watch

The player who discovered this (Gleep, if I'm not mistaken) claimed it dropped from a "Time Bandit" encountered at A Battlefield. I can confirm that this is likely, considering Time Bandits was another Terry Gilliam film, like Twelve Monkeys (which the item references, and is a pretty great movie for that matter) --Otopski 08:38, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Does this stack with other watches, and can you equip more than one... because it looks like you can... *awe* - JohnDoe244 12:06, 30 January 2007 (CST)

  • Sadly, you can't equip more than one.--GoldS 13:45, 30 January 2007 (CST)
    • The "Can only equip 1" message was added to the item's description a few hours after the item was first seen. --Hellion 14:45, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Jick implies [1] confirmation of ultra rare status. So I'm removing that from the "needs content" box. If anyone can confirm drop location then that should be removed to. - JohnDoe244 16:08, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Another reference?

Possibly the Metallica song "For Whom the Bell Tolls"? Its lyrics have always reminded me of the Cola Wars Battlefield, and it does include "time marches on". Possible? --Thoby123 15:39, 6 February 2007 (CST)

  • "time marches on" is an ancient, ancient cliche. predates the suckmeisters metallica by decades if not centuries. --Evilkolbot 15:59, 6 February 2007 (CST)

Wasnt there a movie called time bandits or something like it? --Vhalantru 21:46, 13 February 2007 (CST)

Uniform or no?

Was this item received while in uniform, and, if so, which uniform? Mafalde the Saucy 18:57, 2 February 2007 (CST)

  • Huh? The page has mentioned for a while now that it can be found undisguised. Not to say that you should trust a wiki, but the first person to speak of this item says it was obtained undisguised. That's also not to say that the adventure won't occur disguised too though, although I don't think it would. This is the first (known) Ultra-Rare that drops in a location with disguised adventures. --TheDotGamer 20:16, 2 February 2007 (CST)
    • Didn't mean to confuse anyone. Since the article itself didn't mention disguise (at least not as of when I read it), I asked. Did someone remove it? (off to check the history) Mafalde the Saucy 22:48, 4 February 2007 (CST)
      • Hmm, odd, must've missed it at the time. Anyway, don't take down the location/disguise thing on my account. If someone who got one says it's undisguised, that's good enough for me at this time. Mafalde the Saucy 22:51, 4 February 2007 (CST)
        • Well, ironically, I was the one who removed the fact that it was obtained undisguised from the first known owner (Gleep). However, I don't think it's ever been disproven (nor could it be without confirmation from devs) that the adventure doesn't occur in disguise too. There is still the {{NeedsConfirm}} comment stating that it needs confirm if it occurs in disguise. --TheDotGamer 08:03, 14 February 2007 (CST)
  • I just found one while wearing a Cloaca-Cola uniform. Feel free to update this page and whatever else is appropriate, I've not edited a wiki for some time and didn't want to break anything. --Lizardking 11:25, 8 May 2007 (CDT)

imitation nice watch.

I can lend my imitation nice watch to someone if they want to test with CCWatch. I dont see why it would do anything different than when combined with a dead guy's watch, though. Of course, i'd need collateral...

In-Game Plural

The in-game plural is "Counterwatchwise Clocks". I am unable to edit this directly, so I'll just leave this here. -- FufuBunnySlayer 03:43, 8 July 2012 (CEST)
