It'd be nice to have a separate page for Cobb's Knob Laboratory, containing links to the Laboratory zone (the shop and the Kitchen-adventure equivalent) and the 3 Menageries. What shall we call it? --Quietust 09:59, 24 May 2006 (CDT)

On June 7, 2012 waves of heat, scorch marks, mysterious whooshes, and knob goblin screams were reported in the treasury, barracks, harem, and kitchen. At the moment the cause is unknown Many speculate it is the beginning of a world event. --Mr.Mask 15:01, 7 June 2012 (CDT)

  • On June 8th these actions were also seen in the shaft, lab, and the menageries. It is unknown whether the events began in these areas at the same time as the rest of the knob and players just missed them or if the event is spreading. --Mr.Mask 14:14, 8 June 2012 (CDT)

You look at the ground near your feet and see a massive scorch mark -- judging from the heat still rising from it, it's pretty fresh.--Hairgirl 07:57, 8 June 2012 (CEST)

You catch a whiff of something burning. Which is normal for the Knob, I guess. But you also catch a whiff of something even more burning than usual.--Hairgirl 07:59, 8 June 2012 (CEST)

In the distance, you hear a loud whoosh, followed by the screams of several Knob Goblins.--Hairgirl 08:04, 8 June 2012 (CEST)

You hear a loud thump in the distance, and a few moments later a wave of heat hits you like a ton of bricks. Hot bricks, like bricks from inside an oven or something. --Mr.Mask 14:14, 8 June 2012 (CDT)

Zone images

I just realised that the images shown for the individual zones in the knob (on their own pages) are rather outdated. However, what to do now is hardly something that consensus has decided on. At Cobb's Knob Menagerie, each of the zones has the relevant bit of the image cropped out and used, but at The Castle in the Clouds in the Sky (Basement), the entire image is used. Could someone please decide on a standard to use for this? --KingBobson (talk) 03:16, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

  • I prefer the smaller images. Apparently there is some way to make the wiki crop to the relevant portion when showing one big image, but that's something I've not learned how to do. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 04:46, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
  • OK, I couldn't find anything that did that, so I edited the images manually (using the co-ordinates used in the source code of the actual page, so it should be identical to where the links actually are in the game). If anyone figures out a way to do that image-cropping thing, that'd probably be better, but for now, I'm going to upload the cropped images I made. --KingBobson (talk) 22:51, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
