Vadskye- I'm working on this. Man, is that a lot of plain pizzas to make! Alas for my meat...

Test #1- 382 foods to explode. Gave E-Z cook oven, box, spring, tofu casserole, chorizo brownies, carob chunk cookies, papaya taco, carob chunk noodles, chorizo brownies, tofu casserole, white chocolate and tomato pizza.

Test #2- 400 foods to explode. Gave box, flange, chorizo taco, white chocolate chip cookies, rat appendix-kabob, stuffed spooky mushroom, stuffed spooky mushroom, Knoll shroomkabob, ghuol guolash, stuffed spooky mushroom, lihc eye pie.

Test #3- 381 foods to explode. Gave spring, chef's hat, flange, chorizo brownies, carob chunk noodles, stuffed spooky mushroom, ghuol egg quiche, shroomkabob, tofu casserole, stuffed spooky mushroom, Knoll shroomkabob, tofu casserole.

Given this and the fact the the normal chef-in-the-box is 80-100, it seems likely that the range is 380-400.

Vadskye, thanks for your work on this! --Gymnosophist 18:30, 19 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Has anyone confirmed the items you can get from an explosion, or it was copy-pasted from a normal chef explosion, and added the flange? I highly doubt you can get smart skulls or broken skulls from this, because you didn't actually use a skull in the first place. Also, actual confirmation of each item would be good. I have logged what I got from my CW chef and bartender explosions to help, too. --Pcentella 21:38, 19 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Test: Don't know the number of foods to explode, as used it through my ascension, and exploded it at the end, just before ascending again. I got: box, spring, flange, E-Z Cook Oven, ghuol guolash, Knoll shroomkabob, tofu casserole, rat appendix-kabob, Knoll shroomkabob, chorizo brownies, chorizo taco, ghuol guolash, white chocolate chip cookies. Added chorizo taco to article. --Pcentella 09:34, 20 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

The regular chef drops herb brownies - the clockwork version probably does as well, but it hasn't been confirmed yet. --Gymnosophist 17:05, 13 November 2006 (CST)

I made some stuff, and got the message "The lid of your chef-in-the-box suddenly pops open, and then closes again. Curious." It still works, and didn't give me any items. Does this mean that it's going to explode soon? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gnomesquid (talkcontribs) on 17:58, 6 April 2008

It might be a while before it actually explodes (especially if it's actually clockwork), but basically yes. See Chef-in-the-box (Campground)#Notes. --Flargen 13:10, 6 April 2008 (CDT)

Needs Spading. I don't know how to add the tag, nor do I care much for editing articles. I just had an explosion give ten food items, plus hat, flange, key, and spring. A rather profitable explosion, I'd say! In any case, this certainly rules out "8 or 9" food items. White chocolate and tomato pizza, herb brownies (3), carob chunk cookies, ghuol guolash, papaya taco, chorizo brownies (2), Knoll shroomkabob. :D --Hd 16:22, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
