Talk:Bar whip
From TheKolWiki
Wow, look at the potential of this weapon. Say you had a Jitterbug (or functionally identical familiar) and Double-Fisted Skull Smashing, then dual-wielding this would give +4 weight, or +20% meat drops and +10% items drops --Manial 21:04, 3 April 2007 (CDT)
- hm... that's a good point... people could farm with +20% meat drops, without needing to resort to bobble-hip hula elf dolls & muculent machetes together. However, you can still get Cunctatitis because this is not a ranged weapon. After all, it's possible to avoid Cuncatitis at a cost of 5% meat, by equipping a 1 handed ranged weapon and equipping a hula elf doll with that... --CG1:t,c,e
- How awesome would this be with a Dandy Lion? Extra HP/MP, extra item drops AND attack! FlawlessWalrus 21:55, 3 April 2007 (CDT)
- I'm looking at it as a usefull tool with a NPZR, if you're running one at 45lbs and you have this in one hand, you've got a 47lber, an extra 2 lbs is going to net you more then then the muculent machete and not really need the extra +ML --Sniddy 01:06, 4 April 2007 (CDT)
- The questions remains which is better in your offhand (when using a 45 pound NZPR) this or a bobble-hip hula elf doll? --Asturia 03:48, 11 April 2007 (CDT)
Damage Range
- Am I the only one seeing a 3-point range of damage? My off-hand damage is 1-3, and on normal hits (not criticals) my main weapon damage is also varying by that much. Is this whip perhaps undocumented Power 15, like the swords of static that are actually 2-4 MP? Or are my GM scripts just not reporting my damage correctly? (I'll test that soon enough) --Temporary man 22:03, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
